Allahu Akbar! Announcement: `Eid is tomorrow (Thursday)

Sh. Salih al-Munajjid, on twitter, said that the Supreme court in Saudi Arabia has confirmed that tomorrow is 1st of Shawwal. Many scholars in Saudi have confirmed this.

Although we're hours ahead of most of you folks, it's been raining every minute of every hour of every day the past week ... And so, just another bit of fuel added to the fire of moon sighting wars ... And so we remain, once again, divided on the day, but majority here are calling it Friday - InshaAllah.

Nevertheless, those of you who are celebrating Thursday, we pray our worship and our efforts in seeking His pleasure and forgiveness in this blessed month accompany us throughout the days ahead. May the angels protect you, sadness forget you and goodness surround you. Eid Mubarak!
