Assalamualaikum, I'm neon and I'm currently in the process of learning islam and it is my hope, insha'allah, to convert to islam within the coming year.

This is my fourth Ramadan and I feel that I am ready to take on a more serious role in educating myself in the islamic way of life. Unfortunately I am unable to pray on my own but insha'allah, this will come into being gradually, with the help of allah and this website.

Assalamualaikum. Thank you all for your kind and encouraging words. I first became interested in Islam when I met two brothers, Beel and Jeeb from Mauritius. It was four years ago, just before Ramadan Month, and they were kind enough to let me sit in on their first Iftaar as I was really curious.

They told me stories of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the other prophets. I was very curious to find out more about Islam. They let me watch them do a maghrib prayer and it went on like that.

Following a short bout of friendship, Jeeb and I became closer and now we wish to marry and this has enhanced my wish to learn more about Islam, convert and worship Allah.
