What I have mentioned above is not the thinking or opinion of "IbnAdam77". Infact, that is what I have learnt from Ulema.
The danger of this matter lies as it is a "Du'a" on our Muslim brothers and sisters who are passed away. Islam has everything we need, for the 'Ibadah. Quran and Sunnah has brought us with beautiful Du'as of condolence, so there is no point in taking something of them.
There are many Ahadeeth (plural of Hadith) which calls the Muslims to differ the non-Muslims as far as possible.
Thus, as we already have much better Du'as for the same purpose, why do we have to choose something specially used by non-Muslims right?
You have questioned if it is not something they have stolen. Sister we are not sure about that right? So let us take what we have, and what we are sure about.
Here are a wonderful 2 Du'as which are much better than what they have.
(i)
‘Verily to Allaah, belongs what He took and to Him belongs what He gave, and everything with Him has an appointed time..and then he ordered for her to be patient and hope for Allaah’s reward.’
…and one can also say:
(ii)
‘May Allaah magnify your reward, make better your solace and forgive your deceased.’
Hope it helps dear sister. In no way I meant to disrespect you. But as we have something BETTER in Islam, its always better to use them right?

Many of our African leaders did worst than what Gaddafi did but because they are western puppet no media against them. 40yrs under Gaddafi is better than 4yrs under Nigerian democratic system.

@Sister Aapa: One does not have to say "I am not Muslim" to be an apostate. For example, a Qaadiyaani calls himself a Muslim. But he will never be a Muslim just because he says so.
Many of the Major scholars made takfeer on him. He made many statements that entail major Kufr- Kufr that puts one out of the fold of Islaam. He said things like we do not need the sunnah and that there should be no Qul in soorah al-Ikhlaas and many other Kufri statements, that can be found in his Green Book. Honestly, I have never seen one scholar say that he is a Muslim.
Sh. Naasir al-`Umar even said that those who fight him and die in this path- will die as martyrs.
So, people can stop making du`aa for a filthy kaafir like him. An evil, filthy man who killed so many people and oppressed them.
I don't understand why people are speaking too much and all that speech with no knowledge. And No, Qadhdhaafi is not a martyr- maybe a martyr for the shayaateen.
I wish people only spoke less and busied themselves with knowledge.

USA and west only came to lybia to lotting for oil, nothing but that, to do that, they should have to tell or coin out some reasons, so you can seek for the faulty of gazaffi, if we seek for the faulty of usa, it will be tremendous, but we have no power to do that, such thing happen everywhere.. example in China killd about 30-50 million people...but no one to identify that, why? usa want to hit China , but no such power, and gazaffi is small country with small power, so you can do what you want to do on gazaffi..

Im no fan of gadaffi but i would rather live under him that what we are about to witness.

Do you see good in the affirs of libyans? look at how many innocent people have lost thier live to remove one man,was the loss worth it and look at what is happening in iraq and afghanistan are they better of? i doubt it very much.
Where are the men of understanding that can help us all and pull us into the right direction as i can see none.

Jazzak Allah khair dear brother "Nyerekareem" for remainding us on this so hurting and in the same time so shamefull act. This kind of tortment over one dead human body( does not metter which are his deeds) is never allowed in Islam and this acts should never be done from the side of one Muslim.
Wallahi that was so sad to see and when Kaffirs are watching this video are saying that we Muslims are the same like they are, and that we also do not have any rahmah ( mercy) in our hearts and are generelasing that we all Muslims are the same. But it is not truth Alhamdulilah that all Muslims are the same,and these Muslims should think next time what they are doing and they should fear of Allah as real Muslims fear Allah. This what they done is so shamefull and so hurting, but they will respond to Allah for what they done.
Dear brother Yoldas, please think well of your words before making duas for man who killed so many Muslims, raped woman and by this deeds was great wrong- doer. As Muslims we should not making duas for such a people, does not metter were they Muslims or Kaffirs, but we should leave judgment only to Allah on Day of Judgment. But aslo Alhamdulillah Allah has gave us reason and we all know very well that everyone will respond equaly for his good and bad deeds on day of Judgmnet and Inshallah to noone will be done any unjustice.
It is more correct to say that first Muslims are weak and than that country is weak, because as long as we Muslims do not fear Allah and do what Allah has forbidden us, we can never expect that our situacion will be better.
Walllahi it is so sad to see our Muslim Ummah in this state, but as Allah sais in Quran that He will not change our situation before we change ourselves. May Allah guide our Muslim Ummah. Allahume Ameen.

All the Libyans that I know are very happy with the removal of Gadaffi. They were terrorised for many years by that man and his cronies.
Some people paint a picture of Gadaffi as helping his nation, which is completely opposite to the truth. Despite its rich resources, Libya is under developed. Libyans often go to foreign countries to get their healthcare.
Having said that, it is true that the US and UK are only bombing Libya for their own interests, namely $ oil $. -
Just because you may not like the policies of the Western nations such as the UK or the US, does not mean that you should favour or support any criminals who are also against them.
When Muslims truly submit to Allah, behave and act like Muslims, by having kindness, integrity and are not selfish, then we will be closer to improving our nations and having good leaders.
