Fearfull steps...

Fearfull steps...

My yourney began long time ago,
and my heart became my way
which is leading me trough path of life.
My eyes are looking for its peace
and home, like stars are looking their
company and happiness in full night.

I am walking with my litlle, fearfull steps,
there is a future infront of me, waiting
for me so patiently. And I feel so afraid
to make my first step, my first steps,
because I know that path is a long.

But I know that I must walk slowly and
patiently to not get tired or to get back
on the begining of my path.My tears are
falling and you can not see my face, and I
know they will never stop falling untill I
come untill end of my way.

There I see branches of beautiful flowers
opening happiness and new life for me,and
Jannah where I will never be sad anymore
and seperated from those whom I love.
This time how is only passing fast, I wish
to make it longer, and make the happy moments
never flow.

But I know that this Dunya time is like a doors,
where you enter, stay for some time and go.
And I know that I can not hide my eyes and
hide myselfe from the life and I know that
I can not stop the time, but I must keep walking
and going to the end of my way.

My steps, how they are only quiet, maybe
you can not hear them, and see the girl who
is passing, covering her face with edge of
her headscarf, but I am always there.

I know that life is passing by, taking everything
away with it, not stoping only for one moment,
but I only wish to take one breath more,
and hold this time forever...

Assalamu Alaikum,

Masha'Allah! That was beautiful. It's no wonder that my Islamic Studies textbook has poems from TTI.

Assalamu Alaikum,

You understood me correctly, sister. In the Islamic Studies textbook that I use there is a poem that is titled "Death.. The Sunset of Life" and the source reads: "www.Turntoislam.com". It gave credit to the TTI website so I hope there isn't an issue.
