French court convicts 11 people for harassing teenager over anti-Islam videos

Personal Comment: If the author of the anti-Islam videos had attacked Judaism or Jews, it would be labelled 'Anti Semetic' and no visible discussion is required to say if, why or what is wrong with her remarks. The issue is when it is to do with Islam. Then it is freedom of speech, while anything against Judaism is not. Similarly if she had said anything against democracy, it would be labelled as 'extremism'. So this is the world we are living in today.

As to the issue of receiving death threats and harassment, if it were just about that I could accept the theoretical plausibility of it. But, even this is flawed as Muslims who receive death threats are not given the same treatment and those who attack them are usually not arrested, even when they are named and evidence of their guilt is given to legal parties and in court.
