As-Salaam alaikum,
The Benefits/Secrets of the Opening chapter of the Holy Qur'an, Surat al-Fatiha are several. The Noble Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, was quoted saying that whoever reads Surat Fatiha once, it is as if he has read the different Holy Books of az-Zaboor, at-Tawraat al-Injeel, al-Qur'an (Psalms, Old Testament, New Testament, and the Qur'an).
One of the names of Surat al-Fatiha is al-Maahiyya, "The one that erases", erases what? It erases everything that is bad, it erases all our sins... all bad characters, all power of your ego and all that is related to Shaytan even if you don't feel it being erased!
Surat Fatiha is Allah's Divine Words... there is no beginning or end to the reward and benefit we get from it.
