Hello,
I am from the UK.
I came to this forum in order to get a better idea of what Islam is, what is involved in it and why it is believed in. Feel free to Private Message me, it would be much appreciated.
Personally, I'm an atheist, and would appreciate if anybody would like to give me their reasons for believing, what their experiences are etc.
I hope I will be welcomed here.
Thank you.
Also, any questions regarding atheism I would be glad to answer.

Assalam alykum (peace be upon you). Feel free to ask question in the forums, im sure many will help you. I would a little careful to "debate" here as muslims and atheists get both very emotional and it can lead to someone getting banned

Just a heads up. Islam is like the median religion between Christianity and Judaism. We believe that all the prophets come to give islam but the people fall astray. I like how islam only has one Holy book called the Quran,

the history of islam is also facinating i would research it. how one man could gather so many followers when so many battles when the enemy attacks with much more superior force. And how one man could peacefully march and convert the city of mecca in only a few years after they started persecuting muslims in the city mecca. Im talking about the Prophet, scientist, leader, general, councilor, all while illiterate man Muhammad (pbuh)

The biggest feat of Mohammad (pbuh) is the Holy quran. Im sure more knowledgable muslims can tell you more about islam and why they believe. Your stay here will be benificial Insha allah (god willing)

Welcome to the Forum Flowing River.

I hope you enjoy your stay here. You are very welcome to ask questions regarding Islam (just create a new thread).

While asking questions, I suggest you check out two sections that could be helpful:

1) Introductory Articles About Islam http://www.turntoislam.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=11

2) Fundamental Beliefs in Islam http://www.turntoislam.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=15

The stickied thread's are normally a good place to start in each section.

I look forward to your posts.

Allah (God) says in the Holy Quran:

"Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?" (The Holy Quran, 21:30)

"The heaven, We have built it with power. Verily. We are expanding it." (The Holy Quran, 51:47)

I hope you find the following useful.

As-salaamu'Alaykum,

The person stated in a thread that has now been deleted that he was not here to learn rather seeking how people would answer (I don't why). He apologised for his deception although affirmed his disbelief stating he was leaving.

Therefore I am going to close this thread and leave what Allah (Subhaanahu wa ta'aala) says:

Were they created by nothing? Or were they themselves the creators? Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief.

(Qur’aan 52: 35-36)
