is today the nite?

salam alaykum

is 2day the night of power??......cause every1s flocking to the mosque.....I mean i was jz wondering people taking their chances for jz 2nite is that the rite way to find laylatul qadar?

Don't know but In my area all the masjid's did it yesterday, We finished the entire last night at Teraweeh and the Imam announced it to be layaltul qadr.

it could be any odd night....21,23,25,27 or 29.

most probably its 27. but we are not sure. so try to pray in all nights of last 10 days.

some scholars say that its changes year to year...sometimes its 23 so sometimes 27.

few days ago ppl were telling that they believed it was 23, then i recieved mail, they believed its 25

only Allah knows it!

No sister, we can't claim that Laylatul Qadr falls on the night of 27th (or any other night) with certainty.

We have to seek them in the last 10 nights of Ramadan and put more effort in seeking them in the odd nights.

But no one knows for certain, when Laylatul Qadr falls every year. This knowledge is only with Allah swt.

The person who desperately wants to seek this night, looks for it in the last odd nights. The one whom takes the risk of seeking it ONLY on the 27th, loses the chance to gain the reward of a thousand months.

Ask yourself, why would you want to risk losing something so special, this may well be our last Ramadhan.

only ALLAH knows ahki, it is said 2 have been n the last 10 days on n odd #'d nite so may ALLAH guide us n r efforts :jumpclap::jumpclap::jumpclap:

The question should be, when did you *feel* the night was? I did put extra effort on all the nights, but there was a special happy feeling on the 23rd night. I can't describe it.

yes, sister, i felt very very spacial and peaceful on the night of 23rd this year. i was asking myself ' is it the night'? it rained a little bit , i was watching the sky, it was very very beautiful and peaceful in the deep dark of the night. i have never seen such a beautiful sky before in my life, it seemed there might have been a festival in the sky. we were praying in the mosque, i was so happy and peaceful. May Allah swt accept our humble prayers and forgive all of us. ameen
