I was going to make a huge long post, but it doesn't matter. I will just say I second this post. People need to see what is good about Islam, and he was a terrible representative. Fortunately, there's a handful of good representatives on this site (and lots that I've seen on the internet). There's hope yet.

How can be a retaliation called massacre. Just leave Muslim occupied lands and the problem is sought out.
How many were killed in Afghanistan and Iraq?. Who has given right to US and allied nations to penetrate these countries?.
If a Muslim slaps an individual its echoes round the world,but massacres by white coats developed and highly educated west is never taken in account seriously.
Was Bin Laden serving any personal motto?.

Innocent muslims were killed that day too, as was already pointed out. People from lots of different countries.

If you are retaliating then go after the US Military and Government, not people who were simply going to work. The USS Cole, I understand, attacking the US Army understand, killing people on the planes and in the Twin Towers, not acceptable. The Bali bombings, how were those involved with US Foreign policy? Killing innocents to retaliate against the killing of innocents is wrong on both ends. I abhor the US foreign policy around the world but those killed on 9/11 or in Bali or in Madrid or London were innocents and had nothing to do with US or Britain foreign policy, they were as innocent as those who America have killed. Bin Laden was a mass murdered who used Islam as a reason to kill. The moment he said "We do not differentiate between those who wear a military uniform and those who don't" he became a murderer. There are rules in war and he did not follow them. I am glad he is dead and hope he burns in hell for his actions.

by the way zionist, turned the attention off of bin laden years ago, now they tune into Iran then second to that Saudi.

If you do not believe me then go search for the authentic hadith where Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم fore-told about a time, when the ummah will be played with like football and that only because their love of this world; despite being great in numbers and being rich in resources.

I know the bias, and I'm very aware, as are many Americans, of the stupid directions things took over the years. These "weapons of mass destruction" and countries where you knew they weren't looking for Bin Laden. The loud (and stupid) minority in America believed that things were going in the right direction. No one listens to the voices being drowned out by the stupid voices, you know? I was in the military and a journalist, when this happened. I've read a lot and researched a lot since then, too.
My feeling is that there's a tiny minority of guilty people, and the majority (muslims and Americans, etc) who are innocent. The innocent people need to work past this garbage and try to make peace. I'm seeing SO many people I know (here in the states) immediately asking for troops to be brought home now. And I hope they will be...

:salam2:Not fair to generalize like this.I personally have never been treated like dirt.I don't care what people think,say or do as long as they never dare to disrespect me because otherwise there are gonna be some knockouts. I beat up I don't talk much when it comes to a certain degree,I let em smell their own....This victimizing attitude coming from Muslim brothers and sisters is sickening.You are not victims nobody is,we have to learn to stand up for ourselves and stop being apologetic.In this world nowadays where humans are getting closer to baboons than to homo sapiens in their behavior, either you eat or your get eaten.We have to try and stand firm and strong ,inshallah.
Personally this Bin Laden thing is out of my grasp.The scenario seems coming out of a fantastic Jules verne novel ,Allah swt knows the truth best.
