One of my non-muslim friend ask me the following. What should be the respone?
"
Regarding Prophet Muhammad, Who knew him before Quran revealed? We know of the Quran and what people wrote once he began to spread the message. Not before it. If you claim he was a righteous man who abstained from all wrong before the Quran then you must also agree
1) that it is possible to be righteous without following the Quran
2) that it is a very obvious possibility that there were many other righteous men who spread ONLY the truth about MUHAMMED before the Quran
3) And also spoke well about him even after he began to spread a religion which is said to be in contrast with what prevailed in ARABIA at the time.
Thereby proving that though the QURAN contains the truth, people were good and honest and righteous even before it was revealed. So there was no darkness in Arabia waiting to be dispelled. Right?
