Salaam alaikum!

My nickname is koke and I am a somewhat recent convert to Islam. I am a 3rd year university student. I am studying Anthropology and Arabic language (Egyptian colloquial and MSA) and Islam (practices, interpretations, etc.). I am very interested in people and cultures from around the world. I have joined this site to further my understanding of practiced Islam and to view the diversity among practicing and non-practicing Muslims and the interactions of those individuals within a greater community. Inshallah, I will learn a lot and be helpful to others in the future on the topic of Islam.
