I'm not Somali but was born in Somalia... It's no wonder I speak better Somali than my own mother tongue..:]

Yes pretty old! If you don't mind me asking what nation do you hail from? But the same does not go for me..I was born in Kenya but don't speak a lick of Swahili or even have Kenyan citenzship :/

^well, I kinda do mind. =) I would've said what I was in my earlier post but I'd rather not.. I do love your language though! The writing is quite funny when read in English. My sister's friend has a younger brother whose name is Cade. Light skinned person(which he is) is what it means, I believe. So at school his teachers called him Kadee, which basically sounds like Katie.lol poor kid !

Hmmm...I'd take a good guess but don't wanna be rude lol. Somali is a cool language though yeah..still need to sharpen on my speaking skills and writing/reading pretty much everything tho. Lol @ kadee...but i thought it would be spelled "cadaay"...hmm not sure...on another note why the heck did i make this thread in "Islamic discussion"....ajeeb.

Cade is used for males and cadeey for girls. I can already see what you mean about needing to work on your 'writing'. "Cadaay" ma saxno(is not correct ).
