Stranger's World

Stranger's World

Skies dispersed,
Blueness fades.
Stubborn hearts,
At guard with spades.

A world of madness,
Ignoring our sorrow.
Missing their target,
They plot for tomorrow.

Broken smiles,
Hidden tears.
Out my window,
My soul still peers.

World for a stranger,
Unknown faces.
Walking the plains,
Leaving no traces.

Temporary abode,
Dressed in age.
Vivid colours,
On its stage.

Who's a friend?
Who's a foe?
Broken trust,
A toe for a toe.

Beautiful world,
Without a smile.
Turn away,
And wait awhile.

Who is blind?
Who is free?
Look at the birds,
What do you see?

In hidden gardens,
From the eye.
Green in colour,
They happily fly.

Farewell the world,
O stubborn heart.
For better days,
When you come to part.

Stealing dreams,
Without consent.
The world unfair,
Remain content.

Such is life,
It's Meant to be.
Smile again?
I hope to see.

Broken smiles,
Hidden tears.
Out my window,
My soul still peers.
