Bismillaah, wassalaatu wassalaamu 'alaa Rasoolillaah, wa ba'd.

I will post video's about Osama bin Laden and the organisation al-Qaa'idah.
There will follow fataawaa (verdicts) of Kibaar al-'Ulamaa (major scholars) of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah of our time, may Allaah preserve them.
Mashaayikh (shaykh's) as the former muftee of Saudi Arabia shaykh 'Abdul-'Azeez bin Baaz, the current muftee shaykh 'Abdul-'Azeez Aal ash-Shaykh, shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan, shaykh Saalih al-Luhaydaan, shaykh Ahmad an-Najmee, and many others.

Inshaa Allaah the biographies of these 'Ulamaa will follow soon.

Do not be deceived, o brothers and sisters, because of the speech of the likes of Osama ben Laden, Az-Zawahiri etc. They deceive the youth, spread their dangerous ideologies and cause fitan (tribulations) and mischief upon the earth. This by making takfeer of the Muslims, declaring the blood of the Muslims to be halaal (permitted), going out against the Muslimrulers, committing terrorist acts where Muslims and innocent non-Muslims die and much more, may Allaah guide them and destroy this dangerous path.

I ask Allaah, Rabb al-'aalameen, to grant the Muslims knowledge and make us all firm upon the Manhaj (methodology) of the Salaf as-Saalih (pious predecessors), i.e. to let us follow the Qur'aan and the Sunnah with the understanding of the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam), his Sahaabah, their followers the Taabi'een, their followers the Atbaa' at-Taabi'een and all those who followed their path, including those who still follow it, such as the Major Scholars who gave fataawaa about the deviant al-Qaa'idah who cause mischief on the Earth of Allaah.

And with Allaah lies all success.

Al Qaa'ida the Khawaarij of the Era
The khawaarij are those who declare Muslims as disbelievers because of their committing major sins. They rebel against Muslim leaders, withdraw from the united body of muslims, and make it permissible to shed the blood of muslims in the name Jihaad.

O Khawarij, we know who you are!

Re: Can The Ummah Trust Its Scholars?
The Qur'aan says that we should refer it to the messenger, Allaah and those in authority! In defense of Ibn Uthaymeen, Ibn Baaz, Al Albanee, etc etc, basically the 'Ulama... (May Allah be pleased with them)

Takfeer & Rebellion Against Muslim Rulers, & criticising them openly?

As-salaamu'Alaykum wa'Rahmatullaah,

I recommend everyone to refer to the post below which is Fatawa from Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan (hafithahullaah) about criticising the rulers. (THere is another similar one that I haven't posted),

Taken from The Fundamentals of Commanding Good and Forbidding Evil by Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah (The Introduction)

Times of Fitnah (Turmoil)

There are times when confusion, turmoil, and misguiding desires spread on earth. The way of the good early Muslims (salaf) during such times was to stay away from the turmoil, to avoid deviant desires, to nurture patience and streadfastness, and to strive to restrict themselves to obedience and uprightness. Allah's Messenger :saw: said:

The worship during turmoil is equal to migrating to me.

During the turmoil of Yazid bin al-Muhallab, a group of people came to al-Hasan al-Basri (rahimahullaah) seeking advice. He commanded them to stay in their houses and close the doors, adding:

"By Allah, if people, when tested by way of their ruler, remain patient, it will not be long before Allah (subhaanahu wa ta'aala) would remove their distress. However, if they rush to the sword, they would be submitted to it, and by Allah (subhaanahu wa ta'aala), they would not then find one good day."

He then recited:

And thus your Lord's good promise unto the children of Israel was fulfilled in result of their patience in adversity; whereas We destroyed all that Pharaoh and his people had done, and all that they had built.

(Al-A'raf 7: 137)

Because of this, one of our scholars, establishing the rule of patience, and warning against futile rebellion that leads to the spread of evil and harm instead of knowledge and correct beliefs among people, said:

"Let those who riot know that they only serve the enemies of Islam; the matter cannot be handled by uprising and excitement, but rather by wisdom."

(Huquq ur-Ra'i war-Ra'iyyah by Muhammad al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullaah) pp. 29-30)

How true is the above statement? The Ummah is a dire state and condition. Many people don't pray anymore, (except Jumu'ah or Eid prayers and some not at all), people have false beliefs in relation to Allah (subhaanahu wa ta'aala) or they don't know Allah as they should do from the Qur'aan and Authentic Sunnah (or in relation to the Messengers, the Angels and Jinn, Minor Resurrection, The Day of Judgement and Qadr). People are living for this dunya rather than working for the hereafter, by striving in educated themselves of their Religion - such as learning to read the Qur'aan properly, knowing Allah, praying according to the Sunnah, on time and in the Masjid if they are able to, knowing the Sunnah's of the Prophet and implementing them, and many, many more.

These things don't all happen over night do they? Our families are in the same condition and we need to advise them, and then we can advise others in our communities.

These people that use mediums to communicate emotional speeches serve no benefit. We have to educate ourselves, get back to the Qur'aan and the Sunnah as well as our families. The evidence is on this website, many Muslims reverting or starting to learn their Religion, how many cases is there where the family isn't practising or Muslim even? (The answer is many).

Subhaan'Allaah, it relates back to our Fear of Allah as well, if we truly feared Allah in our daily lives we would see the benefit. We perpetrate sins here and there without any concern, we rationalise such sins or actions of ours and leave it in the past. Subhaan'Allaah if we had the fear of Allah like the Sahaaba and those after them, our condition would be so much better, by the will of Allah (subhaanahu wa ta'aala). You can refer to the thread below in relation to the ill-effects of sins by Shaykh Muhammad Saalih al-Uthaymeen:

How do you expect to help the Ummah if we cannot help ourselves and our families?

I ask myself and ask you, have we looked at ourselves individually and family as well, as to the things in our lives which maybe Haraam? Have we taken the actions to rectify these things that maybe Haraam? Or are we like the blind, pretending everything will be alright even though our actions say something else?

For example, in Fatawa Islamiyah in relation to a question about hanging pictures,

Aishah (radhiyAllaahu anha) related that she hung a curtain with pictures on it. When the Messenger of Allah :saw: saw it, he tore it apart, his expression changed, and he said,

"The people who made these pictures will be punished on the Day of Judgement, and it will be said to them: 'Bring to life that which you have created."

(Al-Bukhari no. 5957)

In another authentic hadeeth, the Prophet :saw: said,

"Angels do not enter a house wherein is a picture or a dog."

(Muslim no. 2106)

That is just one example, Subhaan'Allaah. There are many more.

Therefore, the whole point is that we stick/return back to the Qur'aan and Authentic Sunnah of the Prophet :saw:, the Sahaaba, the Tabi'een and the at'ba Tabieen.

And not to say it just as a statement but make tangible differences in our lives.

And I recommend some of the brothers and sisters refer to the post below regarding criticising those that are deviant and misguided and how it should be done:

I pray that Allah (subhaanahu wa ta'aala) forgives me for my erorrs as we are all prone to errors but the best of us are those that advise with knowledge, gentleness and patience. As well as asking Allah (the Mighty and Majestic) to show us mercy and guide us because without that we are helpless beyond explanation.

Walaykum-us-Salaam wa'Rahmatullaah

One side is saying, never to say a single word against rulers, except in a secret letter and the open Kufr on part of rulers being the only exception to speak against them (and doing their takfeer).

pictures says alot, what if i post pics of abdullah kissing non-mahram women, shaking hands with kuffar such as Bush?? would our rulers in the past do that? who helped amreeka to invade iraq? and didnt KSA,Pakistan and UAE recognize ''the khawarij'' in Afghanistan?
We have rules in Islaam concerning making takfeer (declaring someone to be a disbeliever) or tabdee' (declaring someone to be an innovator, a misguided person) of individuals or groups. We also have rules that we must follow concerning the rulers, so we have to advise them how the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) told us to do. Everything must be in accordance with the Sunnah.

See the following articles for the words of Ahlul-'Ilm (people of knowledge) concerning these issues:

Concerning Correction of the Rulers (7 Articles)

It is really unfortunate that the political establishment using Islam this way to solidify their position in power. It is a shame that respected Scholars naively facilitate this and we don't hear any advice to those tyrants. We don't hear those scholar tell tyrants how wrong they are doing. It is amazing the amount of Hypocrisy that these scholars are displaying when they preach to the public and not a peep when dealing with tyrants.
The 'Ulamaa (scholars) always advise the leaders. They do this according to the Sunnah, following the way of the Messenger of Allaah, following his commands.

"Whoever wants to advise a sultaan (leader/ruler) with a matter, do not do it outwardly but let him take him by the hand and go into seclusion with him. If he accepts it from him then that (is good) and if not then he (the adviser) has fulfilled that which was upon him (to do)." (Musnad of Ahmad, as-Sunnah of Ibn Abee Aa'sim. Authenticated by al-Albaanee may Allaah have mercy upon him).

On the authority of Shaqeeq (may Allaah have mercy upon him) that it was said to Usaamah bin Zayd (may Allaah be pleased with them both):

"Will you not enter upon Uthmaan (may Allaah be pleased with him) and talk to him?" So he (Usaamah bin Zayd) said: "Do you see that i don't talk to him except that I make you to hear (what I say to him)? By Allaah I have spoken to him in manner which was between me and him without opening an affair that I do not love to be the first one to open it." (Bukhaaree #3267)

You might or might not support Osama in everything he do but it is important to know that he is not a Khawarij. It is NOT like the Takfeer-Wal-Hijrah group in Egypt and GIA in Algeria. And this for the following points.
The people of knowledge of Islaam in our times have clearly stated that the path of Usaamah bin Laadin (may Allaah guide him to the truth) is the path of the Khawaarij. They have examined his ways and have stated that he doesn't have any knowledge (he isn't a student of knowledge, let alone a scholar). He has ideas which put him into the group of the Takfeeriyyoon (or the Khawaarij). Some of his beliefs/actions: killing innocent Muslims and non-Muslims, supporting the bombings in for example Saudi Arabia, going against the Muslim leader, declaring the Muslim leaders to be apostates etc.

May Allaah guide those who say those things. Shaykh Osama bin Ladin and Anwar Al Awlaki are like Shaykh-ul-Islam [Ibn Taymiyyah] and the great commander Salah'uddin Ayyubbi to me and others around me.
Usaamah bin Laadin isn't a scholar ('aalim), nor is Anwar al-Awlaakee. Usamaah isn't even a student of knowledge. Anwar is a student of knowledge, but he has errors. None of them can be compared to Shaykhul-Islaam or even the 'Ulamaa of our time! They aren't 'Ulamaa! People put them above their real status. See this for more information on Anwar:

What is the Manhaj of 'Imam' Anwar al-Awlaki?

1. Was Osama bin Laden a non-Khawarij when he was doing jihad against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan? And later on when he was doing the same struggle against the American invasion then all of a sudden he bacame a Khawarij. How?

2. Also I don't think it is Osama who do takfeer but it is the CIA run and operated Neo-AlQaeda gang which are takfeeri, but the media do not let us (ordinary people) distinguish between them, they mix them up in order to confuse the public.

3. I want to know what is so special about the Saudi kings that we cannot say anything against them no matter what they do?
1. The great scholar, shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih al-'Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) praised Usaamah bin Laadin at the time of the Afghan war against USSR. When some time passed Usaamah changed his path and began to spread misguidance. That's when the Kibaar 'Ulamaa started to refute his ideas, and amongst those scholars was shaykh al-'Uthaymeen himself! So, the people who use the words of the shaykh praising Usaamah, they have not acted honestly. There are a lot of fatwa's, lectures, etc. of shaykh al-'Uthaymeen that contradict the path of Usaamah! The shaykh and other scholars didn't approve the actions of Usaamah. He changed, so did their view change.

2. The kuffaar try hard to spread hatred amongst the Muslims, that is indeed true. However, al-Qaa'idah exists (whether or not it is created by the CIA etc.). It is known from the words and deeds of Usaamah, adh-Dhawaahiree (az-Zawahiri) and others, what their beliefs are! We judge according to that which is apparent.

3. There is nothing special about the Saudi rulers. There are rules to be followed if we want to talk about the rulers. It is not permissible to talk bad about any of the Muslim rulers. This is haraam in the Deen of Allaah. This opposes the Sunnah of Rasoolullaah. I have already given links to articles where these issues are explained.

I ask Allaah to increase our eemaan, to strengthen us on the right path, on the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah. May Allaah Subhaanahoo wa Ta'aalaa grant us beneficial knowledge and understanding of Islaam.

Wa billaahit-tawfeeq (and with Allaah lies success).
