The phenomenon of cursing Allah almighty:
Allah almighty says: “They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand.” [Az-Zumar 39:67]
[وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّـهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَالْأَرْضُجَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالسَّمَاوَاتُ مَطْوِيَّاتٌ بِيَمِينِهِ}[الزمر: 67}
Transliteration: Wa Mā Qadarū Allāha Ĥaqqa Qadrihi Wa Al-'Arđu Jamīāan Qabđatuhu Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Wa As-Samāwātu Maţwīyātun Biyamīnihi
In some Muslim countries, there is a phenomenon whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins. The dangerous of this phenomenon is known to everyone who knows his God and His exaltedness and recognizes the despicability of himself as a weak creature created only to worship Allah almighty.
It is the phenomenon of cursing Allah Almighty!
Or cursing His religion, or mocking some of the Islamic rituals.
Here is Allah’s sentence to such people:
Some people mocked the companions of the prophet, peace be upon him, saying: “We had never seen people like those among us who read the Holy Quran; they are the most voracious, the most liars and the most coward when fighting.” Therefore, Allah revealed His sentence declaring their disbelief.
Say: "Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?" Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. "” [At-Tawba 9:65-66]
[ قُلْ أَبِاللَّـهِ وَآيَاتِهِ وَرَسُولِهِ كُنتُمْ تَسْتَهْزِئُونَ ﴿65﴾ لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا قَدْ كَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ...} [التوبة: 65-66}
Transliteration: ...Qul 'Abiālllahi Wa 'Āyātihi Wa Rasūlihi Kuntum Tastahzi'ūna (65) Lā Tatadhirū Qad Kafartum Bada 'Īmānikum ...
Dear generous brother, consider how He almighty sentenced them with disbelief, although they mocked those who believe in the religion; not the religion itself. Hence, what would you think about who curses Allah or mocks his religion?! A few of the prophet’s companions inadvertently disobeyed an order to the prophet, peace be upon him, on the day of Uhud; therefore Allah turned their victory to defeat. Nowadays, we seek victory and empowering while there are people among us cursing Allah or His religion!
O you who committed this grave sin.
Do you accept to be mocked or cursed?
So, how did your created self-accept this for Allah almighty the True King the Irresistible who have created you before, when you had been nothing?!
It is He almighty Who says: “What is [the matter] with you that you do not attribute to Allah [due] grandeur (13) While He has created you in stages?” [Nuh 71:13-14]
[مَّا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّـهِ وَقَارًا ﴿13﴾ وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا }[نوح: 13-14}
Transliteration: Mā Lakum Lā Tarjūna Lillāhi Waqārāan (13) Wa Qad Khalaqakum 'Aţwārāan
If you had fallen in this grave sin, you would have known now that this is nothing but the mere disbelief. This is clear in the words of the Lord of lords and the King of kings.
After lines, you will read the sayings of the scholars (the prophets’ heirs). And Allah has spoken the truth when he said:
“Indeed, Allah does not wrong the people at all, but it is the people who are wronging themselves.” [Yunus 10:44]
[إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ النَّاسَ شَيْئًا وَلَـٰكِنَّ النَّاسَ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ}[يونس: 44}
Transliteration: 'Inna Allāha Lā Yažlimu An-Nāsa Shay'āan Wa Lakinna An-Nāsa 'Anfusahum Yažlimūna
Cursing Allah and the religion in the eyes of the shariah:
Bin Taymia, the sheikh of Islam, says: “Cursing Allah or His messenger is inward and outward disbelief, whether who did so knew that or not, and whether he meant it or not.”
Imam Bin Qudama said: “Whoever curses Allah almighty is a disbeliever, whether he is talking seriously or joking.”
Jurists agreed that when a couple apostates, they must be separated from each other, hence the man will not be permitted to approach his wife (by copulating or any other thing).
Imam Ahmed, may Allah mercy him, was asked by Abdullah bin Ahmed about a man said to another man ‘You are such and such person; I mean you and who created you’. Imam Ahmed said: “He is an apostate; his head must be cut.”
It is not permissible for a wife to stay with a husband curses Allah or the religion, unless he declares his repentance and return to Islam.
Sheikh Salman bin Fahd El-Oda says: “Whoever curses Allah almighty intentionally is a disbeliever (this is by the consensus of the scholars). And whoever became a disbeliever, the rights that are given to him by the shariah (e.g. marrying the Muslim women) would be null and void.”
Islam cancels whatever is before it, and the one who repent from the sins is like the one who has no sins.
Allah almighty says: “Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."” [Az-Zumar 39:53]
[قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّـهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ}[الزمر: 53}
Transliteration: Qul Yā Ibādī Al-Ladhīna 'Asrafū Alá 'Anfusihim Lā Taqnaţū Min Raĥmati Allāhi 'Inna Allāha Yaghfiru Adh-Dhunūba Jamīāan 'Innahu Huwa Al-Ghafūru Ar-Raĥīmu
This is mercy of Allah presented to you, so come to it quickly. Whether you were among those who dared to insult the exalted position of Allah, or among those who kept silent and did nothing to prevent that; Allah’s gate is still open to you, if you went to Him with tearful eyes and heart loves Him much, fear Him much and hope much from Him. This gate is still open as long as your soul did not leave your body, or the sun had risen from the west by Allah’s order. Remember that whoever does not deny the evil (while being able to deny it) is a partner in the sin whether it is major or minor.
Allah almighty says: “And fear a trial which will not strike those who have wronged among you exclusively, and know that Allah is severe in penalty.” [Al-Anfal 8:25]
[وَاتَّقُوا فِتْنَةً لَّا تُصِيبَنَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنكُمْ خَاصَّةً ۖ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّـهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ}[الأنفال: 25}
Transliteration: Wa Attaqū Fitnatan Lā Tuşībanna Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Minkum Khāşşatan Wa Alamū 'Anna Allāha Shadīdu Al-Iqābi
The prophet, peace be upon him, said: “I swear by the one that in His hand is myself, you would enjoin (on the people) Al-Ma‘rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do), and forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islâm has forbidden); or Allah would send punishment over you, then you invoke him, and He does not respond to you.” [Ahmad Shaker]
‹‹ والذي نفسي بيده ، لتأمرن بالمعروف ولتنهون عن المنكر ، أو ليوشكن الله أن يبعث عليكم عقابا من عنده ، ثم لتدعنه فلا يستجيب لكم››

Whenever people desert enjoining Al-Ma‘rûf and forbidding Al-Munkar, they deserve Allah’s dislike, curse and punishment.
The prophet, peace be upon him, said: “When people see the evil deed and do not change it, Allah’s punishment is going to catch them all.” [Ibn Al-Baz]
‹‹ إن الناس إذا رأوا المنكر فلم يغيروه أوشك أن يعمهم الله بعقاب من عنده››
[ابن الباز]
Al-Bukhary narrated in his Saheeh that Zainab bint Jahsh said, “O Allah's Apostle! Shall we be destroyed even though there are pious persons among us?” He said, “Yes, when the evil is increased.”
‹‹ يا رسول الله ، أنهلك وفينا الصالحون ؟ قال : ( نعم ، إذا كثر الخبث )››

Your role:
Allah almighty says: “And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims." [Fussilt 41:33]
{وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِّمَّن دَعَا إِلَى اللَّـهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ}[فصلت: 33]
Transliteration: Wa Man 'Aĥsanu Qawlāan Mimman Daā 'Ilá Allāhi Wa Amila Şāliĥāan Wa Qāla 'Innanī Mina Al-Muslimīna
In order not to deny only by our hearts, we invite you to create ways sufficient to eliminate this clear disbelief from our countries to be a reason for accelerating the victory of this nation. The following are some of these ways (not all the ways), so have insistence, sincerity and make your mind works; “So for this let the competitors compete.” [Al-Mutaffifin 83:26]
[وَفِي ذَٰلِكَ فَلْيَتَنَافَسِ الْمُتَنَافِسُونَ}[المطففين: 26}
Transliteration: Wa Fī Dhālika Falyatanāfasi Al-Mutanāfisūna
Our role with the scholars and preachers:
- Surveying the TV and radio shows that host the scholars who has respect among people, and asking them questions related to this phenomenon (e.g. what does Islam say about the marital relationship of who curses Allah, His messenger or the religion?) to deter some of those people and return them back to the right path.
- Propagating their Fatawa that relate to this phenomenon.
- Making following up with the scholars and preachers and asking them to talk about this subject.
Our role with the technical devices:
Put your hand in your pocket and get out your mobile phone. Actually, you can make this small device a source for great rewards.
- Send SMS (shows what does religion says about who curses the religion) to the channels that display SMS tape.
- Write showing and advising message for getting rid of this phenomenon and send it and ask the receiver to resend it. Start growing your good tree.
- Be sure that your messages are short, clear and show how to interact for combating this phenomenon.
Now, look in front of you … Have you seen it? I mean this computer or that TV… How many people watch TV? They are millions around the world; so how much would your scale be heavy with good deeds if you preached through it?
- Call the TV shows and display the idea or nominate it as a subject for the coming series (whether you are working in the media or among the audience).
- Send messages to the channels and ask the talk shows to discuss this topic intensively.
- Contact the websites owners and incite them to talk about this phenomenon and work for eliminating it.
Our role with the common people:
Declare your rejection to whoever does this, and tell him the consequences of his doing in this life and in the hereafter. Do not be shy of the truth; they do not shy of doing the wrong! Declare the truth and never fear of the blame of the blamers. If He repented and returned to the Lord of the worlds, then praise is due to Allah almighty, and Allah Almighty the Most Generous would reward you; it is He Almighty Who knows the greatness of your reward. On the other hand, if he refused and became arrogant, go away from him, desert him completely, and ask others to desert him. Allah almighty says: “And it has already come down to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah [recited], they are denied [by them] and ridiculed; so do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them. Indeed Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together -” [An-Nisa 4:140]
{وَقَدْ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ أَنْ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّـهِ يُكْفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسْتَهْزَأُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقْعُدُوا مَعَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُوا فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ ۚ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا مِّثْلُهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ جَامِعُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْكَافِرِينَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيعًا}
[النساء: 140]
Transliteration: Wa Qad Nazzala Alaykum Fī Al-Kitābi 'An 'Idhā Samitum 'Āyāti Allāhi Yukfaru Bihā Wa Yustahza'u Bihā Falā Taqudū Maahum Ĥattá Yakhūđū Fī Ĥadīthin Ghayrihi 'Innakum 'Idhāan Mithluhum 'Inna Allāha Jāmiu Al-Munāfiqīna Wa Al-Kāfirīna Fī Jahannama Jamīāan

Declare your rejection to whoever does this, and tell him the consequences of his doing in this life and in the hereafter. Do not be shy of the truth; they do not shy of doing the wrong! Declare the truth and never fear of the blame of the blamers. If He repented and returned to the Lord of the worlds, then praise is due to Allah almighty, and Allah Almighty the Most Generous would reward you; it is He Almighty Who knows the greatness of your reward. On the other hand, if he refused and became arrogant, go away from him, desert him completely, and ask others to desert him. Allah almighty says: “And it has already come down to you in the Book that when you hear the verses of Allah [recited], they are denied [by them] and ridiculed; so do not sit with them until they enter into another conversation. Indeed, you would then be like them. Indeed Allah will gather the hypocrites and disbelievers in Hell all together -” [An-Nisa 4:140]
{وَقَدْ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ أَنْ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّـهِ يُكْفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسْتَهْزَأُ بِهَا فَلَا تَقْعُدُوا مَعَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُوا فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ ۚ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا مِّثْلُهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ جَامِعُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْكَافِرِينَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيعًا}
[النساء: 140]
Transliteration: Wa Qad Nazzala Alaykum Fī Al-Kitābi 'An 'Idhā Samitum 'Āyāti Allāhi Yukfaru Bihā Wa Yustahza'u Bihā Falā Taqudū Maahum Ĥattá Yakhūđū Fī Ĥadīthin Ghayrihi 'Innakum 'Idhāan Mithluhum 'Inna Allāha Jāmiu Al-Munāfiqīna Wa Al-Kāfirīna Fī Jahannama Jamīāan
