What is your favorite Dua you recite often? My favorite is:
“O Allah, yours is the praise, you are the one whose help we seek, you are the one we rely, your is the aid we seek. There is no might and strength except from Allah, the high and the almighty”.

This Dua is very deep and heat touching.

:salam:

I have quite many. But from the sunnah, I would say this one, a du`aa that was oft-recited by our prophet :saw:

O' turner of hearts, keep my heart firm upon your religion."

And from the Qur'aan,

[Who say], "Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower." (Aali `imraan:8)
Besides the meaning, this one is near and dear to me because it was my mom who first taught it to me a very long time ago alhamdulillaah.

It's one of the most beautiful duas and melts me inside! SubhanAllah!!

There was another dua that Prophet Musa A.S recited once. It has been mentioned somewhere in the Quran, unfortunately I don't remember the name of the Surah. It was heart-touchingly beautiful too! SubhanAllah!

Janaan (Glad to know it's one of our both's favorite duas!) :)

Shaddad ibn Aws (radiAllahu anhu) relates that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said that he (Sayyid al-Istighfar) most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is to say (the above du'a). That "If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise."[sahih al-Bukhari; 8,75,318, at-Tirmidhi; 3393, an-Nasa'i; 5522, Ahmad; 16662]
O Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, and I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, and I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You.

Hmm are you referring to this dua : "فَقَالَ رَبّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْت إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْر فَقِير"(surah Al-Qasas: 24)
