Need Help To convince Non-Muslim...faast plzz!!

I have been having an intense discussion with a non-muslim, apparently he/she wants the following-


Again, I'm only interested in things written in the Quaran that are specific in nature that speaks to the future in order for me to believe the Quran is everything you believe it to be. Nothing vague, please.

Please.... Again, I am not interested in ANY examples of things/discoveries that happened FIRST, then "discovered" later to be in the Quran.

You must understand that in ORDER for any book that is known as the "word of god" to impress upon me that it's "future" knowledge, information, data or predictions MUST be presented in a consise, specific MANNER in order to make me believe it.


Examples:
"The Quran says in verse# 62.15 that beings from another planet will visit the earth in the summer of 2009 and ask for our help." (I'd accept that)


OR...

"The Quaran says in verse 516.8 that Allah will make a special appearance during Ramadan in Mecca in 2010. He will come from the skies and deliover a special message, in person, for all the world to SEE." ( I'd accept that too)

OR

"Man's biological makeup has a code of 4 letters and was designed by Allah, you can see the physical structure of man when you look to the skys, toward the north star in a cluster of stars to see what this 4 letter code is."
(I'd accept something along that line, even though the DNA code has already been discovered)

You have got to present something to me that, is consise enough for it to BE SPECIFIC..


I'm sorry, but that's just the way I'm made.

If for some reason you cannot give this information to me, I cannot be impressed upon by you (or anyone else, for that matter) to be compelled to believe that this book IS the "word of god", as you believe it to be.

Can my brothers and sisters please help me in compiling a solid proof that would convince this person? For example, can you find verses from the Qur'an that speaks about the Yawm-al-Qiyamah...or the signs of the Yawm-al-Qiyamah...or anything that would help me with this matter? A single post'll be enough

Warning: personal opinion of a non-scholar will follow.

I'd not recommend the website of Salika (sorry). It contains things like numerical miracles and reasons for 9/11 fro mthe Quran .. etc which I find very dodgy. I have to say there is a lot of so called "scientific miracles" in the Quran circulated around which probably are not well verified. You need to be careful.

first ,may allah lead this person to his straight path, ameen,
, if you go to the verse called elkamar, ......it says, the day of elkiama is getting nearer, and the moon is cracked......until the end of the verse.
it did happen, during the days of prophet mohamed pbuoh, when the prophet and a lot of sahaba( friends of prophet).
in addition, prophet mohamed pbuoh mentioned that at the end of the time, there will be a lot of earth quakes, and we are seeing this fact with our eyes. very frequent earthquakes.
if you search for ahadeeth, there are a lot of them which speaks about this fact.

this is just my personal opinion.


brother u need to keep in mind that guidance is only from Allah and however many signs you present to some1 if Allah SWT has guided this person it aint gonna make any difference.

2dnly from the kind of proof that this person is requesting i have some doubt as to his/her seriousness for searching for the truth.

the best thing for you to do is to give this person a translation of the holy Quran to study and any qns they then might have should be refered to a learned scholar e.g. islamqa.com

and Allah knows best.

let s assume that something like that exist in qoran...so your ferind will relyed his conversion until 2010 to verify if it s true. why he don t accept things which is verified befor ???

tel them that in islam we beleive that sun will rise from west....and let them to wait but you know it s too late to become muslim when sun come from west.

subhana allah people like that are exactly like those who says to our prophet (SAW)

''They say: "We shall not believe in thee, until thou cause spring to gush forth for us from the earth (90) "Or (until) thou have a garden of date trees and vines, and cause rivers to gush forth in their midst, carrying abundant water; (91) "Or thou cause the sky to fall in pieces, as thou sayest (will happen), against us; or thou bring Allah and the angels before (us) face to face; (92) "Or thou have a house adorned with gold, or thou mount a ladder right into the skies. No, we shall not even believe in thy mounting until thou send down to us a book that we could read." Say: "Glory to my Lord! Am I aught but a man a messenger?" (93) Al-isra (qoran) ''

How very true brother. I don't know this person much...we got into this discussion in an online forum....Maybe I should try taking this approach towards him instead of giving him what he wants....Thanks for the post...really made me think!

some people demand to be spoon fed. it is not a fair demand.
