Assalamualaikum to my dear sisters and brothers at TTI,
I have received this email that had been forwarded to me and would like to share it with all.
My intent is just to share this email with you and to spread the word around because I thought it made sense.

Most importantly, I would like to inform you that I have no intention on judging anyone's actions. Some would still like to go ahead with it, some would choose not to. So its really your own perception and opinion that matters.

Forwarded Msg:
FATWA

Saudi council of Muftis has given a unanimous Fatwa that ring tones on QURAN AAYAT are HARAAM because the AAYAT are not complete when we pick the phone and meanings of AAYAT changes when they are not complete. QURAN is for Hidayat and not for ring tones.

Please inform others!

KINDLY PASS THIS MESSAGE TO OTHER MUSLIM BROTHERS AND SISTERS AS WELL AS FRIENDS.

Oh ya....and not forgetting...
Something got me thinking about those who use atthan / quranic verses ringtones as well...

Wouldnt it just be weird if you are in the toilet and your phone rings...?
Its kind of disrespectable dont you think?

I mean...those are words in our holy book and instead of it being pure, its being blared loudly in the toilet. Its just weird.

Salam, May ALLAH SWT bless us all,

Indeed I agreed with the fatwas.
Can I ask you all a..maybe sort of many...I guess..questions, and do help me understand it.
(1). When we hear /listen ..some mosque played/recite al quran using tape/cd then out of sudden the phone rang...what should we/i do?
(2). While driving along with friends.. listening to famous surah recite..then one of the friends..brought up an issue/question/...then what should we/i do..

Help me..improve me..guide me..
Salam..
