Yes u r right........it has taken long.........but the importance of restoration of these judges can't be denied...........PAKISTAN WILL BE A NEW PAKISTAN IF THESE JUDGES ARE RESTORED........
If am not forgetting Hazrat Omar said "a soceity can flourish with out beleiving in God, BUT it cann't thrive if there is not JUSTICE"
Thats right .They should be restored.After all we want culprits of Lal masjid Massacre to be Punished,all the corruption to be stopped.
By the way Chief Justice was about to do that.he took suo moto of Lal Masjid,Steel mills,Missing persons,Islamabad farm houses,karachi property scandal,PTCL habib bank privatization and lots of others.
Most of all .Supreme court is supposed to be a protector of constitution.Our constitution says in article a 1 A
"Supremacy belongs to ALLah.There can be no law against Shariah"
"Pakistani constitution bans Interest"
More over Islamic law is part of OBJECTIVE RESOLUTION .The thing that is called as Basic of Constitution.
In Most of the countries of world including US,INDIA Supreme court is considered as DEFENDER of Basics of constitution.It can also strike down any Parliament order that goes against basics of constitution.
Like in Turkey Court Surpassed Parliament and struck down Abolishing of head scarf ban as it was against Turkey's Secular Constitution.
Pakistan's constitution being Islamic needs to be implemented .we didnt have Shariah as no body was there to fight for Constitution.
I hope chief justice of Pakistan implements Article 1 A of constitution and enforces sharaih Other wise I have no interest in this restoration
