Murders and Crooks brake in

-Assalamu Alykum everybody I hope you all are well. So it was last week on Thursday, when someone broke into my house and went into the first floor. The way they did it was by lock bumping and breaking the back door glass into their kitchen. And they took roughly $10,000-$20,000 worth of things in their house. I didn't care about it, because they weren't practicing Muslims (that still wouldn't justify) but really the fact was that they stole all their Duniyah things. Like their LCD screen TV, their cameras and camcorders, jewelry, $6000 cash hidden somewhere, so they basically took alot of thier life. And I was kinda happy too becuase I was hoping that by this they've learned that the Duniyah is temporary, and that they should focus on better things, but hey, I don't know.
I would have told you all about it, but I really didn't care about these things cause I believed that Allah Ta Alla is the protecter and he shall protect us how long he wants to.

So they took MAD things from the first floor, and these are BIG crooks. So my parents came back from outside and they saw that the glass to the first floor's back door (theirs a separate for the whole house, and than another for our own places) was cracked and the doors to the back doors were opened, so my parents called inside the house (the Muslims who lived there) and no one answered, while the neighbors said that they saw 3 people carrying luggages to their cars and they got out the front way. So the door handles and the door was changed this week.

And than I didn't think that they'd ever come back, but I was WRONG.

It was this morning past midnight when I went to sleep at 1:00, I put my alarm clock to three to wake up to continue Tahajudd and Fajr. So after not being able to sleep, at 1:00 I turned to the left, got tired, and turned to my back, and went to sleep, dreaming and thinking about Rasullallah (SAW).

And I opened my eyes to the sound of my mom talking quickly and urgently in panick.

"Hey, call the police! The Crooks came to our house! (She was saying this to our older sister in Bangla)." And I jumped up from my bed on the floor. And my mom and sisters were on the phones, and looking out the windows and saw them.

There were four of them, black and Hispanic, wearing all black, and one was wearing a hat, and they were walking at the side of the street (the sidewalk our house is on), and they were walking slowly to our driveway.

My mother knew that the crooks came back. She always felt that they'd come back to rob the second floor and the third floor (even though we aren't the "richy" people). And so I was in a panic. The last time they broke in, they lock bumped, and I thought they'd do the same. So as my sister was frantic and was telling the police (the city police) what happened and what was happening, and after like over one darn minute I was like to her to just tell them that it's a burglary, 4 guys, send in six cops, and since I was also frantic, I took the part were you speak inside and told them that theirs 4 guys, and to PLEASE just send in six cops. And so they said that they would arrive. I thought it felt like forever, like they're taking too long, what if they're already inside the house? What if the basement person (who's also Muslim) gets killed by them? What if they break into the first floor and kill all the kids there? (Because even though the two oldest are in 6th and 7th grade, they have a baby sister and I was worried that they have to be safe, something that's inside me to worry about people, I'm open minded). What if they come to us?

So I pulled out the kitchen knife (the one with alot of teeth), and I waited in the shadows in the bedroom by the kitchen, ready to rumble and slice when the come in, and my mom was frantically trying to call the first floor and third floor (and also make sure that the basement person knows and makes sure that he is safe) and to wake them up by hitting the floor and screaming and making noise, and she was calling them, but they weren't getting up.

So because I was in panic I jumped on a chair and punched the floor above me to wake them up, (it made a nice hollow sound), and so I was back into getting ready. I recited the Ayatul Kursi and knew in firm beleif that Allah Ta Alla shall protect us, and if I either have to face the theifs or not, Allah Ta Alla will not let any harm come to me (since that's a tragic death for kid like me), and I was about to do Tahajudd without Wudhu until my sister was like that the police came.

(The first thing my mom did was call my da when she saw them, and with my sister's other cell phone she called the police, and she told my dad and after she told him that the police came he said he was coming in a few minutes.)

And so from my second floor window I saw the police coming into my driveway, four of them, one an African American women, (the rest white American), and my sisters told me that the crooks obviously fled (when one of the police cars shined the light out, but maybe they had a lookout who told them they came from before and they fled), and than I told the cops from my window that to check in the back and in the neighbors place, (cuase they could've hid in his open garage), and they asked me if anyone lives in the basement and I told them yes, and they said to me that if he knows that someone broke in, and I told them yes again, and they said that they cut the net off the window.

And than the police told me that I need to come out and talk to him. So I ran out with my day clothes on (my all the time Islamic clothes, and my mom and sister tugging on it to tell me to take it off and wear a shirt, always do this when I go outside, and I ran away with the knife with me and my sisters took it off me).

So I went outside and three of them were there. One of the men asked me how old I am, (I said 14), and they asked me the situation, and I said:

"There are these crooks who broke into our house last week, and they've come again, and they robbed the first floor and they came to get the rest of the house." And they asked me if my parents are home and I told them yes, and than I told them again to check the places, and they said that they sent one over there.

And so I came back inside, and my mom said that someone could be waiting by our door and attack, so she deiced to go out and check, and I looked through the back door window (the light was on in the hallway, always when my father comes from work) and my mom opened the first floor door and it opened, and she got scared that they got inside there, so I told her to come back up and she did.

And so my sisters said that my father came and stuff, and I opened the net and yelled out to him that the back door for first floor is open, and he and the cops went there. And I was there and my mom was on the phone and she was talking to the kids' mother and she told them that the people must've broken in, and so the kids were asleep in their room and their mother adn father came out turning the lights on and Mashallah by the time I got there, the polices were insdie, so I was helping them look around, and found no body.

I knew that they could've been hiding anywhere outside, in the bushes, past the boarded up fence, in the vines and poison leaves growing on it (don't know the species), and so I took a flashlight and a stick and I went around searching with the police around. I hit every bush and bed of leaves, and found no one, and the cops also looked everywhere and found no one, and than one of them asked me for descriptions, and I went upstairs and asked my mom what they looked like, and I told them these:

"Black and Hispanic, wearing all black, the Hispanic ones wearing a bit of white, and one (not the Hispanics) was wearing a hat (obviously a Fety)."

And so we went to the front, and the Bangali neighbor who lived on the same street as us came over and I told him all that happened. And as the grown ups were talking (in Bangla) and the policeman standing there, I told him that they (the crooks) could be hiding under the cars, and he said that as they went to the back, the crooks obviously slipped out and ran away without being seen. I knew that made sense and that was obviously what they did, but still with the flashlight I looked under some of the cars until I knew that they ran away. So the police was discussing things, the other 3 cops left, and he said that he as going back to his car to give his report, and so I came back inside.

At the beginning, I thought it was a bunch of Bangali kids who were doing that, because the only people who were getting robbed were Bangali, and I knew that there were those "Muslim" kids out there who would do stupid things, but it turned out that they weren't Bangali. And so my sister saw the face of one of the Hispanic boys and recognized him, she saw him at highschool (she was a senior and graduated on Wednesday), and when I was outside, she was trying to find out who he was. He was a senior too. A failing kid who got left back and didn't graduate (has a bad background). And form her yearbook she got the picture of one of his friends, and I told her to get a paper and to write down his address (they have it in the yearbook, weird), and I stapled the picture (not messing it up) and I went to the police, and he said that he can't do anything about it and I'll; need to let the detective know.

And so the cop said that after his report he's going to go around the block (that was WAY before he did the report that he was going to do this, which started at 2:40, and he went around at like 3:00), and that after every twenty minutes he's going to come back and leave till five (which is when Twilight is near), and stuff, so I came back home and after things were settled, I turned the computer on and tried to find things that we'd need, affordable security cameras, heavy duty locks (Medeco, Primus, etc.) and all that stuff. And so things were settled down, and we were all home, and I was doing my Tahajudd and Fajr. I only slept for 1.5 hours, and haven't gone back to sleep (not even as I was writing this for the past hour), but I still don't feel tired or drowsy, rather, it might help me go to sleep in the afternoon at the Ijtimah today so I can stay up for longer tonigh tfor Tahajudd and Fajr.

So anyway, my summaries about this past night were: The burglars nad thiefs. My mom nad I knew (and maybe even my sisterS) that they cmea in for serious trouble. Because no one ever comes at night to break into someone's house without knowing that they'll face people, and you know what they do? Bring weapons.

Because the other thing they can do is break in during the morning like they did last week, because they know, and almost everyone knows: That people are never home in the morning before noon (10:00-12:00), so they can easily steal what they want without having the people be there.

But by doing this they were basically planning on breaking in at night, and if they came across anybody (because they know that people are inside), they would by no hesitation kill them. These are kids and young guys who have no mercy or care for what they do, brutal people they are. But know that I think about it, they couldn't even break into the house either, because the only place they could go to would be the basement guy, (the broke through the kitchen, and his bedroom door is were stays and is locked), and they even know that he has nothing important because they broke into his house first last week, and than they wouldn't be able to get into the house because there are three other doors they'll have to go through. And the third is locked on the outside were it's in the back hallway, and they'd never be able to get through becuase the part of the door that they'd face would be flat while the lock is on the other side, and thus they'll just have to go home.

But if they broke in or not, I was going to be ready to fight, I'm not the person who mercilessly kills, I mean I'd feel bad for doing so, but when it comes to when the person deserves it, or when it involves weapons and it means that if I don't kill, I'll die (and I DON'T want to do that, hey I've got a whole life I want to live! LoL), I don't object, and I don't care. Because a Kafir person licing abit longer might jsut give him enough time to learn aobut Islam nad maybe even coem to Islam, but I know crooks with knives and weapons who break into your house wouldn't care about stabbing you, so I was okay with the part when I'd jump out and slash thier necks if they coem in.

But the most greatest thing I had in me, the greatest thing that I was POSITIVELY, WITHOUT NO DOUBT, FIRM ON, was Allah Ta Alla, the fact that he is MY protecter, and my Ally, and that Allah Ta Alla is the best ally for the Beleiver, and that's what kept me strong instea of being scared to death, becuase it's Allah Ta Alla who I have wit me, no matter waht I'm in, whether I'm fighting for my Deen, or fighting for my life, or being hurt, I know that Allah Ta Alla has my back ,and that he's here for em, and that he's beside me, and Verily Allah Ta Alla is the best of Allies, Allahu Akbar Ameen.

So, I hope you guys liked reading my story. It was a horrible experiance, dying from a group of burglars who broke into his house. And for what? Darn money. So I'd die in a stupid way, not for Allah Ta Alla, but Allah Ta Alla might except me as his Obediant Slave (Inshallah) if I die anytime and anyway, because of waht I wanted to do, and for what I HAVE done (my Ibadat to him).

Well, Inashallah this incident shall never happen again. And please maek dau that it doesn't ahppen again please brothers andsisters, it's gonna annoy me to have to worry about a darn group of thugs coming in and than I won't be able to go around in lfie without the thought that someone's gonna shoot me.

Not just amazing writing, I have never seen a fourteen year old this spiritual. Masha Allah. May Allah SWT always keep you guided and on the Straight path. Aameen.

I am very happy to hear that you and your family are well. May Allah SWT keep you happy, safe, and healthy always. Aameen.

Indeed, Ayat ul Kursi is a very powerful verse. I used to cross the road every night from my Dear Brothers house to go back home, because I used to live directly opposite my Dear Brother, and on the way there were many cats. I am very scared of cats. They were big black ones with red and yellow eyes and they would stand in the driveway. But I used to say Ayat ul Kursi all the time and Alhamdulillah even though the cats were there, they would slowly walk away. My heart is still throbbing at the thought of cats. :(

My Dear younger brother, take very good care of yourself. My duas are with you and your family always.

Assalamualaikum

Dear little brother, I am so glad that your family is okay, Alhamdulillah. It is so dangerous in this country these days with all these thugs armed and high on crack or meth, it makes them completely irrational to talk to. Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala was surely protecting you and your loved ones. Continue with the recitations from Qur'an every night and have Qur'an playing from the computer or a CD as much as possible.

I pray that these people will not bother you again and find their souls to turn their lives around, Insha Allah.

Thank you for sharing this story and you are right, none of the material things mean much at all. May Allah bless you for realizing this at a young age :)

Subhan'Allah.

You showed your determination in that situation and you were very brave too. May Allah bless you.

When you mentioned that you were waiting with the kitchen knife, i literally thought that you would strike one of thieves.

I will for sure mention you and your family in my Du'a.

May Allah keep you safe.

LoL Brother I am a good writer. :) Subhanallah. Everyone loves my stories that I used to write in school. Like there was this one assignment where my teacher said that it should be 6-8 paragraphs long, and I was thinking of making a fourteen page short novel chpater book about Fantasy, LoL.

Like this is what the setting takes place on. "There is this young fourteen year old elven boy named Deren, who is the apprentince of the greatest knight in the kingdom. In the story he journeys far for answers and to find clues about "The Great Sage" and to find the existance of the black knight and the Shadow Kingdom. The story takes palce 17 years after the war of "The Great Sage" in which the Kingdom of the Elvens fought with the Shadow Kingdom, and the Elven King was assasinated by the Dark Centaur Knight, (an assasin and character in the short novel), and so Eren, a young 16 year old boy, led the armies to the Shadow Kingdom and lay Sage to it. After fighting so fiercly, the Kingdom of the Elvens suceeded into destroying the Shadow Kingdom, and by Eren leaing them, the Elvens won the war, and he was crowned King for the past 17 years. Many of the Rogue fighters of the Shadow Kingdom were killed, and some fled. No one has known of them ever since, and they were than forgotten. Until the present day, after many years, King Eren confirmed what he knew would happen: The Elder Rogue fighters and Killers of the Shadow Kingdom have joined each other again, and the Shadow Kingdom was rising again."

LoL. You're going to have to sue a lot of visual imagery, that's what I use in my stories. I could describe the scene that the person is in, the character's emotions, the descriptions of how the boy and the Shadow soldiers look like. Just by playing alot of Fantasy RPGs (Role Playing Game), and by watching stuff like Yu Gi Oh! I've been able to make out how my characters should look and what they do, and the settings and things.

But I decided that I wouldn't write the story and so I didn't, becuase the teacher wanted us to hadn it in oen week, while it'd take me more than that to make a great story, and also since Fantasy and book writing isn't a good thing because it is fake and takes a person away from this real world, and also from Allah Ta Alla, so in other words it's like a distraction, and I was busy so I didn't care about my story, :).

I WAS going to attack the theives. And if they brought a gun too, all I'd have to do would be to kill everyone else and make sure it's just one on one with me and the one with the gun, because I know how to take it out of his hand and get the weapon.
