very important questions what do i do

I was at a friends house a non-muslim, we are very good close friends, we both were in the kitchen and i saw choclate and i love choc so i was like oo Choc im having some and i quickly put one piece in my mouth, but right afterwards he shouted NO dont it has some alcohol in it..

I quickly thew it out, rinse my mouth many times spit all I could i wiped choc with my fingers and washed my mouth again and again

I dont know what to do it probably touched my tongue, not sure if i consumed it
It was a small piece of choc so very minute quantity of alcohol but still I feel bad what do I do?

I am noone to be saying anything in this matter, and its best you ask someone more learned. My personal opinion, however, is that, you ate it without the knowledge that there was alcohol in it. Surely, if you knew, you wouldnt consume it. So, InshaAllah, Allah forgive you. But repenting wont hurt .

We should be extra cautious when it comes to foods like that, especially living in the West, where not everything is stamped Halal by the Islamic Council. There are so many foods, and not only foods, even things like cosmetics and perfumes that should be avoided. I, myself, am trying to research a few additives, and ingredients that are always mistaken for being halal. May Allah guide us in choosing the correct foods, and provide for us from unexpected means. May Allah make all our rizq Halal Insha Allah. Ameen.

cake ...i kept on eating ,eating and eating it was a big piece than my mouth tasted so uncomfortable i almost was going to puc but then i said my friend about this and then she said that cake is filled with alchohol ..and then i did the same as you did and then i asked allah to forgive me and i felt very comfortable when i asked forgivness to allah ...because sister allah is the most mercifull ..allah forgives the people who drink alcohol wantedly then we atleast did it unwantedly then who are we ...
