do you expect some non-muslims show to the world how Quran-i Kerim perfect and full of miracles and many of them already seen?
Those are the new trend, come close as gentlemen to affect non-muslims's minds according to their aims.
I didnt see this but i saw "Islam" documentary in Nat Geo.They collected all light american/european Muslims and asking them how you feel being Muslim, there are many Islam scholars but they find these men/women on purpose. They do go to cinema (which are consider kissing scenes),they do meet with their girl friends/boy friends, they do listen mp3 settling ipod on their ears etc. these ppl explain Quran as a perfect poem books ever written and Islam as a yoga hasha

salam Alakum,

:salam2:

I havent seen the documentary, so I cannot comment on that. Brother Yousef's post reminds me of Al Gazali observation 'Problem with us Muslims, is that we tend to judge a speech by the person, its should be other way round, we judge a person by his speech'

So Please dont go about dismissing the documentary, when you havent actually seen it. Indeed amongst the people of Book are people who believe, this is what Quran says.

@ shaheer pak

If you provide me with the link of the documentary I'll watch it for you.

Jazakallah Khair,

aoa,

my distrust began when it started with music instead of bismillah. History channel belongs to non-muslims. i wouldn't trust them to portray a true picture. also i did a background check on the people being interviewed, some are american muslims, others are roman catholic so its a mixed up view. its just a history, the title is misleading, the actual secrets of the Quran are not even presented. the way the Quran's verses were presented with pictures from Dante's Inferno superimposed on them. very offensive. also in the end they showed their traditional "non-muslim-ness" taking verse 7 of Surah Aale imran out of context and not giving the full translation.

here is something on the Quran which is much much better. its a talk by Gary Miller about the miracles of the Quran:

recommend this. it will tell you things about the Quran even you didn't know about.
