Asalaamualaykum,

It seems that the knives are out for the muslims. Just looking at the British press the past week, there's been debates from our dress code to the shariah. What next?

Waaleikum salam,
Is good sign for us muslims. If there were no trials and mushrikun and kaafiruun does not bother us, then there is something wrong with our imaan.

I'm sure you can all undertsand why some of the UK public are a bit iffy on the whole Sharia law court thing. It has been seen as a bit strict but that is the fault of the brit media and some radical clerics. Personally I don't see that the fuss is all about it's not like your courts will effect non-Muslims.

Just what God said would happen,

"You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Book before you and from those who associate others with God much abuse. But if you are patient and fear God - indeed, that is of the matters resolute." (3:186)

Excellent reminder, may Allah Azzawajal reward you. I'd been feeling quite frustrated with all these going ons about Muslims in the media until you reminded me this ayah.

:wasalam:
