Let me share my personal opinion with you. I think that online games on facebook and other internet sites are addictive and you will eventually spend a lot of time playing them. This isn't something productive and therefore it's not a good idea to start playing online poker or anyother game for that matter.
Plus, there is no physical activity in the game. Sitting for long hours infront of the computer will make you feel sleepy and tired and therefore would also affect other activities of your day.
Also Akhi, right now you're thinking about playing without money but if you are drawn in to playing it and you start to 'really like' playing the game, you could feel like playing with money or watching poker tournaments on tv etc. It is better to stay away from things that would bring us desire of the 'haram' or make us spend time watching/learning/participating in the 'haram'.
