wa alaykum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
Its a stupid cartoon, for a lot of reasons and it plays into the hands of the Zionist Jews.
First of all, that video was placed on an Hamas's Arabic channel, AlAqsa, then recorded by Zionist Jews and placed on Internet as an example of "Anti-semitism"
It is wrong Islamically, for a Muslim to depict any people in negative way, based on physical attributes etc This is something that was done by the Nazis.
That does not mean that those Jews who have in their hearts the desire to destroy the al Aqsa Masjid are not evil, rather, we should only talk and discuss about them based upon the Quran and Sunnah.
Our Islam is not one where we do things based on emotion. Rather, we have patience and we only say and do that which Allah subhana wa ta'ala is pleased with. It is a very tough and tall order indeed! especially with such problems we face today.
The other issue is that, by stereotyping people, you also make the Muslims weaker by not understanding the true complexity and nature of the enemy and the problem. - So, both the characterisation - physical and psychological stereotyping makes Muslims less likely to know who really the enemy is, because they focus with such narrowminded view.
The truth is, many Jews and Palestinians often look similar. Although, there are many European and Russian Jews, even Indian Jews who have settled in Palestine, in what they call "Israel". But, they are created by Allah subhana wa ta'ala, and are human beings like me and you, they dont all have crooked noses and they dont all talk as if they have frogs down their throats. And infact, many have by Allah's help been guided to Islam. Many Jews find Islam. When they say Shahada, their noses do not automatically straighten out
Anyway, the Palestinians are very far from even being able to cooperate together and work with each other, so this complaining about the "Arabs" is futile. Rather than pointing fingers at others, perhaps we should point them at ourselves. Our Kalashnikovs and bullets cause more harm to our own people, then to our enemy. Many hundreds have died in the fighting between Hamas and Fatah or with other groups.
If you go during Ramadhan what will you see? I was in Ramallah, and I was invited to a gathering of some of the most notable families of Palestine, so many of the young men just sit around smoking hubbly bubbly hookah, sheeshah, and eating Mansaf, watching the Dramas on the TV whilst they should be in the masjid.
Most of the people who go to the masajid are the old men, and even they can not pray properly, because it was something they just decided to do, at this age! after living years and years not really thinking about prayer or the masjid. Now they do, because their old clogs are gonna stop whirling away!
The hope is only in the purest of Islamic da'wah, starting with Tawheed, having pure Ikhlaas and Taqwa in Allah subhana wa ta'ala. This is the truth, from the Qur'an and the sunnah, and only the foolish and ignorant people deny this.
So, all these cartoons, dramas, even the "intifada", do nothing. The only benefit is from the people returning to Islaam properly, and doing things with the wisdom of the Qur'an and Sunnah. That is the only way to true justice.
A real Muslim, wants justice not only for themselves and their families and their people, but Islam gives true justice for the enemy too. We do not believe in unfair revenge, and humiliation, but of the enemy submitting to the laws of Islam.
My advice for some of the younger members of TTI is to seriously start learning Islam, beginning with studying the books of Tawheed and Aqeedah, being careful about who they listen to. Not all the speakers on the net are good. Just because some people talk about the situation of the Muslims, and say things that appear good, it does not mean they are good.
The world is full of people talking about various issues, there are many pretenders who take the gown of Islamic scholarship, and attribute titles of Shaykh or Imam to themselves, but it is just talk and of no value. They rely on people being ignorant as all of those who listen to them are not students of knowledge.
Rather, we should look to following the words and teachings based purely from the qur'an and Sunnah, and the way of the early Muslims, and those who maintain and revived those teachings throughout Islamic history, most recently we had Shaykh Albani, Ibn Baz and Ibn Uthaimeen (rahimahumullah).
If a person does not know or have an understanding of what "Islamic knowledge" truly is, then they will never know or appreciate the value of the Ulema.
The only value is in those matters that have a solid base and foundation built upon pillars of Qur'an and Sunnah. For those are unshakable and are the only way forward.
The key is knowledge, true and pure knowledge, and working hard in gaining this.
InshaAllah, we will work together and we will find way forward.
