Nice story about a man and his son

You may have heard this before, it's a nice story, and has a great moral.

There once was an extremely handsome, very good looking, drop dead gorgeous man. His name was Rickyraws :) He was a sweet, attractive fellow, and was inconceivably handsome. He had a son, and wanted to teach him to control his anger, and patience, as he was growing. They lived in a suburban area, and had a nice white picket fence.

Rickyraws told his son to do something whenever he got angry. "Son, I want you to take this hammer, and these nails. When you get mad, hammer these nails into the fence. Every week, you'll have to then remove the nails with the hammer. Is that understood, son?" The child nodded. He was young, and didn't really know what that was all for. Sure enough, whenever he got angry, he nailed the fence, and used his anger and frustration to do so. It was easy to do.

It was hard work for him to take the nails out every week, though. He didn't like doing that at all. Though he was young and growing, he was a smart boy, and so when he got angry, he though to himself: Do I really want to go through taking the nails out? Is what I'm angry about worth it? And so each week, less and less nails were in the fence, as the son started to think before he acted.

When the deliciously handsome, and intelligent Rickyraws saw that his son was learning, and there were eventually no nails in the fence anymore, he called him.

"Son, you've done good. You've been learning, and you're becoming wiser, as you learned by yourself, to control your anger. But look. Look at the once beautiful fence. You see it now? It's all covered with holes. You took the nails out to make up for nailing the fence when you were angry, but the damage is still there. You did good in trying to set things right, but the holes will forever remain."

"When you get angry, it's easy to say something that offends someone. You might not know it, but it might hurt them in a way that changes them forever. You can apologize, and try to make things right, but the pain may still remain. That's why you have to control your self, and your tongue....so that the beautiful fence can stay beautiful, and not damaged throughout the years, son."

His son grew up to be a very gentle, and wise young man, who always deliberated his actions.

Rickyraws won 1st place in the Suburban weekly: Handsomest man competition.

Some words easily leave the tongue, but can never be taken back once the damage is done. Some pain can be alleviated, but some wounds stay deep. Some people may be handsome, but they've got nothing on Rickyraws ;)

I agree, rickyraws is witty and it's the best part LOL but I would be worried too if my daughter thinks that rickyraws is another Brad Pitt. LOL.

Hm, maybe I'll need to find a new story where the father teaches the daughter that real beauty's comes from the inside lol
