AFter some researching I found this is most likely FAKE and its sad that someone is using such things to promote islam.

Claim: The skeleton of a giant human was uncovered during gas exploration in Saudi
Arabia.
Status: False.

Quote:
Origins: Although the scriptual writings of many religions include tales of races of giant men who lived long ago, this message and its accompanying photo are not examples of archeological proof of those accounts. The image displayed above was taken from Worth1000, a site devoted to hosting contests in which entrants show off their skills at manipulating photographs using digital editing programs. This particular picture was an entry from one of the site's "Archaeological Anomalies" competitions, in which entrants vied to create the most realistic archaeological hoaxes: "Your job is to show a picture of an archaeological discovery that looks so real, had it not appeared at
Worth1000, people might have done a double take." The basis for this image was a real photograph of an excavation site near Hyde Park, New York, where scientists were working to uncover the skeleton of a mastodon. Someone then linked the altered version of the image used for the Worth1000 contest entry with a fictitious backstory based on the Islamic account of the Prophet Hud, creating the hoax quoted above — which spread especially far after being published as a seemingly real news article on the web site of The New Nation, described as "Bangladesh's Independent News Source."
A May 2007 blog entry entitled "Bhima's son Gadotkach like skeleton found" (and attributed to a 22 April 2004 Times of India article) repeated the hoax, with the locale switched from Saudi Arabia to northern India and additional skeleton photos included.

it would be such a huge archelogical finding it would have appeared in every single news paper not such one or two

Im sory for posting it, the thought just didn't cross my mind :) JazakAllah khair everyone for thinking straight :)

My first reaction was: ew, a skeleton.

My second reaction was: What's so special about it?

And then I read the story, and then I saw that those little things on the corner, which I took to be stray pieces of metal are actually people! Subhanallah!

But why not tell everyone? I bet if you show non-muslims, they'll all go "big deal, its fake." They should let all the Discovery and History channels make documentaries about this, comparing with what the Quran says. I know, we can dream...

looks photoshoped.

wa Allah ya3lam

Allah speaks truth always.

but I have seen some non muslims propagating photoshopped images in the muslim community.

first time I ever saw or heard of found remains of this magnitude.

Wasn't the city of Iram discovered in the early nineties by satellite imaging, buried under the sands of southeast Arabian peninsula?

yes, in yemen and i think oman.

the interesting thing about iram, is every time they go escavate the site, there work gets ruined by sand storms. and all they dug up gets buried again and again.

they found it via satellite.

subhanAllah

jazak Allahu khair,

you know what is the major problem of the pic you posted. It is the lie in the commentary that the Quran says....

There is hadith and Quran, but see how they said the Quran says. This is the damage that anti islam people try to inject in our communities about the book of Allah.

where in the Quran did Allah say they could pull trees out with their hands. In fact where does it say they were big. It only says their structure where built big and tall and they thought they were invincible.

wa Allah ya3lam

edit: Allah blessed the muslims with the isnad, this is something never done in history till after the prophet PBUH. I think we need to start following this, for it will clear our problems with information.
