to Allah we belong

life is appox. 60-65 yrs (that too not sure). of that, if we take out childhood and old age....it comes to 20-30 yrs.
the desires and hopes are maximum during youth. can't we control our *nafs* by avoiding dating, drinking, backbiting,etc for just few yrs?
few yrs of worship in this world and then Allah's pleasure and paradise for eternity inshallah. may Allah make it easy for all of us. Ameen
Quran: 79:40-41
And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires,
Their abode will be the Garden.
