Hi everyone

But this Anti-Christ, this Masih ad-Dajjal, (المسيح الدجّال)
who is he exactly?

Is he just an evil human being or is he a SUPER-NATURAL being?

Thanks

Hi,

this is a clear explanation given by Shaikh Al Amry

Hi um muhammad al-mahdi,
thanks a million for the video.
Yes, i understand that there will be not one but many dajjals, but what about the main one?
Who is he?
Is he Shaitan/Iblis?
Is he a supernatural being?

Fausto

BTW, are you Italian, like myself?

Hi Fausto,

I'm glad the video helped you alhamdulillah. Since you are italian, if you want, you can read this thread in the italian section of turntoislam about the Dajjal, just follow this link:

http://www.turntoislam.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51833

and to answer your question, yes, I'm italian.

um muhammad al-mahdi

Grazie mille, the italian link is really wonderful.

So the Dajjal is a simple human being, but a very evil one, and blind in on eye, OK fine.

Also, if I have well understood, that scholar made a passing reference to the Mahdi, but isn't the Mahdi a Shi'a theory?

Grazie

Uuuuuhhh, this idea in Britain and all over the West is VERY VERY VERY politically incorrect.
Watch out for the Politically correct Brigade if you live in the UK, mate.

Just joking, ha ha ha.

Well, the Isa as described by the Holy Quran has way too much power for a simple human being, don't you think so?

Hello Fausto...

I think I know what you're trying to get at..and I understand that it is a result of your belief in the divine "characteristic" of Isa ('alayhi assalam)...but your question stems from a narrow view on the *overall* nature of *prophet-hood*...it happens quite often with Christians in-fact...that they focus on the miracles of Prophet Isa ('alayhi assalam) and set aside *all* the other prophets...when each one of them had in-fact received and performed miracles from Allah (sobhanaho wa ta'ala)...

Just to start off...

Prophet Moses ('alayhi assalam)...spoke to Allah (sobhanaho wa ta'ala)..and is even nicknamed "Kaleema Allah" (roughly translated: The One who Speaks/Converses with Allah)...read the verse below:

"And to Musa (Moses) Allah spoke directly." [An-Nisaa'a 4:164]

He ('alayhi assalam) had a staff which by Allah's Will turned to a creature that consumed the magic of the sorcerers of the pharaoh..read below:

"And We revealed to Musa (Moses) (saying): "Throw your stick," and behold! It swallowed up straight away all the falsehoods which they showed." [Al-'Aa'araaf 7:117]

Also he ('alayhi assalam) beat that staff onto the ground through which 12 springs of water gushed for the 12 Jewish tribes..please read below:

"And (remember) when Musa (Moses) asked for water for his people, We said: "Strike the stone with your stick." Then gushed forth therefrom twelve springs. Each (group of) people knew its own place for water. "Eat and drink of that which Allah has provided and do not act corruptly, making mischief on the earth." [Al-Baqara 2:60]

There's also the miracle of him ('alayhi assalam) not suckling milk from any woman as a baby..(when the pharaoh's family found him and took him as in infant..and tried to bring women to breastfeed him...he did not do so..until his mother was brought..upon which he suckled milk from *her* thus..she was given this duty out of all the other women...this is a story in the Tafsir of the Qura'an)..read the verse below (for a glimpse of the story)...

"When your sister went and said: 'Shall I show you one who will nurse him?' So We restored you to your mother, that she might cool her eyes and she should not grieve." [Taha 20:40]

And of course who doesn't know the event of the Red Sea separating for him and his people ('alayhi assalam):

"And indeed We revealed to Musa (Moses) (saying): "Travel by night with Ibadi (My slaves) and strike a dry path for them in the sea, fearing neither to be overtaken [by Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] nor being afraid (of drowning in the sea)." [Taha 20:77]

And he ('alayhi assalam) will hold one of the sides of Allah's Throne..which is an honor endowed upon him ('alayhi assalam)..per the *sahih hadith* below:

"The Prophet said, "Do not give a prophet superiority over another, for on the Day of Resurrection all the people will fall unconscious and I will be the first to emerge from the earth, and will see Moses standing and holding one of the legs of the Throne. I will not know whether Moses has fallen unconscious or the first unconsciousness was sufficient for him.
" [Bukhari, Book 41-Hadith 595]

These are the verses and the only *1* hadith (out of many) which speak of the miracles of Prophet Moses ('alayhi assalam) *only*..

If I had the time to gather for you more information...you would be very amazed..and you will be further amazed if I were to bring you details of the miracles of the other prophets..such Rasulullah (sallah Allaho 'alayhi wassalam) ascending to the heavens..splitting the moon..multiplying amounts of food..having his chest opened and cleansed by angels (as a child)..and having water gush out of hands..Prophet Soloman ('alayhi assalam) communicating with the animals and the jinn and owning them for servants..fire not harming Prophet Abraham ('alayhi assalam) when he was tossed into it by his people..and so on and so on...

All of these miracles make the prophets mentioned and those not mentioned as if they're not "simple human beings" if *anyone* were to take *the logic* into your question and apply it to *each of them* ('alayhom assalam)...but that's not *the point* of what I write..rather I wish for you to understand that *miracles* were given to *all* the prophets ('alayhom assalam) through *Allah*..

Hence...without Allah's *approval* and *will* they would not have done anything beyond what *a human* is able to do or comprehend...these miracles are *gifts* to the prophets which should not be a factor of *elevating* their status to that of *divinity*..rather..they come as a reminder to you and I of the power of Allah which has no limit and surpasses our humanness by infinity!

May Allah set your heart upon the truth..Ameen!

Peace
