Alhamdulillah The government took a large co-pay out of my disabled veteran's check and another check didn't come at all. I guess I should be worried but like Prophet Dawood (PBUH) wrote:

Psa 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.


Psa 37:25 أَيْضاً كُنْتُ فَتىً وَقَدْ شِخْتُ وَلَمْ أَرَ صِدِّيقاً تُخُلِّيَ عَنْهُ وَلاَ ذُرِّيَّةً لَهُ تَلْتَمِسُ خُبْزاً.

I know that this is a trial testing my new found faith in Allah.

So, Alhamdulillah! Allah my du'a are for the children. May I always remember my blessings and learn from my trials.

Brother I dont know why anyone would feel that way? Islaam has certain restrictions, but it does not prohibit everything... we shouldn't go to extremes in that either, so I believe it would be fine if you posted them.

I know the feeling of being given so much and doing little subhanAllaah... and it's so very true! I admire your attitude though and I hope you never lose this positive and striving quality inshAllaah.

May Allaah bless you and reward you for any hardships or difficulties you go through in his way!

im am sorry to hear this, but as i was, something came into my mind: you are entitled to recieve support from the Muslim community too- im sure the imam of your local Masjid would be able to help, in addition to the local Muslims.

also, speaking from experience, i know low income can be extremely difficult, and only one who has been in such a situation can comprehend. However, saying that, we need not worry as every pound/dollar that is written for us will reach us no matter what obstacle comes in our way. our sustenance (rizq) in life is already preordained for us, many years before Allah created the earth, let alone us- subhanAllah.

i also wanted to add that the best method of help for financial difficulties is the frequent recitation of 'astaghfirullah' (the is recited for seeking forgiveness) based on the following verse:

.."Ask forgiveness from your Lord; for He is Oft-Forgiving;
He will send rain to you in abundance;
Give you increase in wealth and sons; and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers (of flowing water)."

Surah Nuh (Noah) 71:10-12

also:

.."And for those who fear Allah, He (ever) prepares a way out,
And He provides for him from (sources) he could never imagine. And if anyone puts his trust in Allah, sufficient is (Allah) fro him.." (surah at-talaq 65:2-3)

I am confident that we will be okay. Before my injuries, I made a very good living. All things are for are good and perfecting. I don't think we will need any help. It is just a temporary trial. I would guess all new reverts go through it. Just as all new converts to Christianity from agnosticism and atheism go through it. Shaitain doesn't need to whisper in the ears of thoses following his path. As one turn towards Allah even a little, the spotlight begins to shine like a searchlight on an escaping POW. And, I guess we are in a spiritual war with our animal nature.

Alhamdulilah, the weapon of the believer in times of ease and distress. Showing approval of what Allaah has chosen for you is the only way you will get everything you want. And by the will of Allaah, you will get everything that you need and more when you least expect it.

And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out
And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent.

I am trying to learn Surah and Ayat in both English and Arabic so as to be able to reference AL Qur'an in my speech as had been my practice with The Bible when a Christian. I still do reference the Bible because I know the danger of the tongue and hope that by quoting "Scripture" I will not offend. I have lost so many friends over the years because they somehow get the opposite meaning of what I am saying.

So, please whenever you see a Bible verse quoted by me where an Ayah says the same thing, I would appreciate you posting it.

Jazaka Allaahu Khairan for your sincerity. The prophet said the muslim who guarantees me what is between his two beards and his thighs I guarantee him Jannah. Once the mouth moves in time, it cannot move back in time. What is said cannot be unsaid, and what is heard cannot be unheard.

If anything comes to mind, I will share it with you by the will of Allaah.

Allah's Messenger ( MUHAMMAD)Said a Muslim is never allowed to stay angry with his Muslim brother over three day's , because he who does that, then dies will go to hell ( FIRE ) . ( This is reported by Abu Dawood ) (Sahih Al - Jami ) ( page 7609).
