I am concerned about the following ....
I got an Iftaar invitation from one of my relatives (my uncle's inlaws) problem is that he and my father are not on good terms, as I have personally heard as a witness (the lawyer and potential buyer) him slandering my father and bearing false accusations against him.
Problem is I have been invited twice and I am not so in touch with them through out the years. I only know them of the relationship mentioned above. It is the month of Ramadhan and i truly want to mend my ways. Usually i wouldn't bother caring about it but now i am in a state of panic because I have once read a hadith (which I cant find anymore) that one should accept a dinner invitation even be it from an enemy and to not decline unless there is a real excuse behind it.
