The certificate must state that the holder is vaccinated against yellow fever 10 days before the arrival and no more than 10 years ago.

Assalaam walaikum,

In light of recent studies suggesting that vaccinations are not necessary what is a potential pilgrim to do.
I need clarification as to what the Quranic answer would be.

World are often shocked by the threats of disease outbreaks . Several years ago we were surprised by the threat of bird flu , JE , Dengue , Chikungunya , and HIV . Recently again the world faced with the frightening epidemic of swine flu epidemic.

Contagious diseases are biosocial phenomena that can appear anywhere and
at any time. They are caused by infectious or toxic agents that are dangerous to human beings. If allowed to spread, they constitute a real danger to society andthe nation. They strike to anything young, old any form oflife being! There are several contagious diseases and their causes and the possible methods of prevention. The battle
against them is never easy ~May Allah swt help us~Amin!

Vaccination still need to apply like there saying prevention is better than cure.

Bukhari:V7B71N665 "The Prophet said, 'No contagious disease is conveyed without Allah swt permission.'"
:bismillah:

Qur'an 48:14 "To Allah swt belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth: Allah swt forgives whom Allah swt wills, and Allah swt punishes whom Allah pleases."

Ishaq:395 "No soul can die but by Allah swt permission in a term that is written."

We have many knowledge regarding diseases and we know what the spread can do and it harm and danger some are life threaten, millions of pilgrimage will crowded together so prevention is better than cure!

We have to think fast!!!Germs works faster in crowd!

I don't know where you read about recent studies suggesting that vaccinations is not necessary! This is untrue!

Vessel of diseases(porks) .
Pig for example carries a total of 74 diseases and killed millions in past and recent years and people still consumed it and they are still selling the vessel of diseases(porks) in the market!

Pork is Forbidden to muslims.
This is detailed in verses 2:173, 5:3, 6:145, and 16:115 of the holy Qur'an. An exemplary verse is quoted here:

:bismillah:
"Allah swt has only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine(pork), and any (food) over which the name of other than Allah swt has been invoked.

Germs can still spread without consuming but through air.
Germs works faster in crowd!
These are the fact
So Vaccinations is still to apply.

:bismillah:
"Allah swt increased degree of those who believe among you and who bestowed knowledge of the advantages of some degree." - (Surah al-Mujadalah, paragraph 11)

Precaution is better than cure.

Assalaam walaikum,

I read all the time. It is true.

I can not be forced to take something that is deadly to me. I was just wondering what the official policy of the KSA is regarding those of us who can not take vaccinations for ethical reasons.

And in glancing over the list of countries it was amusing. Most of the countries mentioned are all populated by people of color. Are there no diseases in countries populated with people of no color.

Diseases such as yellow fever are very predominate in the countries mentioned. Yellow fever has not been diagnosed in decades due to the advent of vaccines against it in developed countries. Recently we had a death in the ER due to dengue fever, it was an immigrant that had not been vaccinated against the disease even though it dominated in his country. He had just flown in from holiday while visiting his family there, it was so sad.

There still isn't enough vaccinations against polio in the countries mentioned. I am often stunned that there are still cases of paralysis caused by polio in countries such as India, parts of Africa, etc., This is a cheap vaccine which can be administered orally.

^ True. I've heard many stories where children were administered the polio drops in India, but they still got Polio afterwards. Turns out, the corrupted authorities had mixed in various things in the meds.. no reason why. I don't think they charge anything for the drops..

But like Aapa, I too have read the thing about vaccines being harmful - in fact, a group of people in my office was talking about this very topic the other day - of how autism and vaccines have been linked. Perhaps its corruption or other reason, but some harmful stuff is added to the vaccines in some places.

Vaccination is important .It's an alternative and works for body defend! But again vaccination is still not compulsory. it is by choice to some country but again in some part of the world vaccination is very important and compulsory as the risk if not taking for its citizens.

Travellers too adviced to vaccinate and there's risk one have to take if not taken it like an open door to all germs!

A very thoughtful of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabiah goverment is much appreciate for playing good host as millions of people will gather together.~May Allah swt reward them tremendously~Amin!

Well, i guess Vaccination goes at your own choice but strictly if one know the consequences will become later taking vaccine is a body protection serve for self benefit and own good.

As long as the stuff is halal, hey why not???

Thank you for reading brothers and sisters,
