Don't Be the Devil's Advocate

It’s real strange how we say one thing one moment and then another moment our hearts quickly change and we are tricked into committing a sin or following the Shaytan after his whispers... :astag:

It’s real interesting how often these whispers can be so evil and we ask ourselves ” How are these thoughts coming to me?”. Especially in Salat.
Well guess what? Did you know that their is a specific evil jinn that Iblis sends out to distract people in Salat. His name is “Khinzuq”, his job is to put the worst thoughts you can ever imagine in your head. This specific jinn used to come to our beloved Prophet Muhammad, and one time the our beloved Prophet choked him out. Yes! he choked him out, because that's how angry he got towards this evil jinn. Our beloved Prophet was able to see the jinn, and he told us that if this jinn comes to you during Salat giving you these Haram thoughts, Then look towards your left shoulder and spit three times and say Audhu Billahi Minashaitanir Rajeem (I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan).

So you might be wondering about these thoughts, don’t worry. Its natural. Just make sure you keep this advice in your hearts and recite what our beloved Prophet told us to keep yourself safe. One of the tricks of Shaytan is he likes to make you question yourself about the Deen inwardly, and in this process the individual falls into doubt about his or her Deen and boom! All of a sudden you're not following the commands of Allah. So think about it and be real careful about what you say and how you act in accordance to it.

jazak Allahu khairan, this is true.

Just wanted to point out you don't "spit" you do the action but not with a lot of saliva coming out of your mouth. The guy next to might give you a slap upside your head .

It is more or so like fake spitting. it is like a sucking in spit, where you stick your tip of tongue between your lips and draw it in with lips closing; try to close your lips really fast so hardly any big amount of saliva comes out of your mouth; then make a slight pressure of spitting motion with the lips closed. And not with great intensity, just enough where like a couple of specks of saliva doesn't travel farther than your shoulder. Having saliva come out is not necessary at all, it is just like when you do it some comes out, you can't prevent it.

wa lillah at-tawfiq

Thank you SO MUCH for clearing that up! It's more like the gesture of spitting, not actuallly real spitting, right?
