I came across this story, while I was listening to a Tamil, lecture.. and it is so amazing.. hope you all would love this..Let me type..
Once there was a Sheikh in Egypt. He was a learned person and every one used to clarify things with his help.
One day a Christian preacher approached this Sheikh and asked“ O so and so.. I heard that Allah has described about EVERY THING AND ANY THING in the Qur’an, is that true??”
With a smile on his face, the Sheikh said “Yes.. you are correct..”
So now the turn came for the Christian, and he said.. “Oh I see, fine. Now tell me FROM YOUR QUR’AN, how much of flour is needed to make bread? … and let me repeat that I need the answer from the Qur’an, ITSELF ..“
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY, IF YOU WERE AT THIS SHEIKH’S PLACE??
Again this sheikh with a smile on his face said, “Come lets go to a cook on a bakery and find the answer..”
“ Didn’t you hear me properly, if your ALLAH has said about ANY THING AND EVERY THING in the Qur’an, why has not He said about the recipe for bread??” asked the questioner…
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE SHEIKH SAID?
“ I have given you the answer from the Qur’an itself..
.. you know what? ALLAH (SWT) says in the Qur’an that,
And before thee also the messengers We sent were but men, to whom We granted inspiration: if ye realize this not, ask of those who possess the Message. (16:43)
So according to the above verse, as I don’t know the recipe, I have to ask it from a cook who knows about this matter than me..
So, basically I have provided you with the answer, from the QUR’AN ITSELF.. “
