:salam2:
Have to admit, it is really tempting to work in a supermarket because it's one of the easiest part-time jobs out there to find. But because you're selling the people alcohol/pork/haaram meat, it makes the job haraam. People have been saying confusing things like it's not like you're drinking the alcohol or eating the meat, so how could it be haraam? I see brothers with beards and a lot of sisters with hijaab who work in such enviornments. I'm sure there is a hadeeth that says the curse is the same for the one who drinks alcohol, sells it, deals with it etc. So if someone works in a supermarket and earns money, their rizq is going to be unlawful and have no baraakah.
But what happens if they spent that rizq buying food, clothing and other items. Do those items become haraam as well and should they get rid of it? And if they have money left from haraam rizq, what should they do with it?
