what is Tawiz? Rohani Ilaaj? and what is Aamil?

Assalamu Alaykum

salam to all, inshallah you are doing well.

i havent been here for a while now, i've been sick.

anyway,

i would like to know more about what is Aamil and is it a sheikh and whatever or whoever it is, is it allowed in islam

does anyone know who Aamil Mohammed Azam from the UK is?
i heard he is Aamil (spiritual doctor) who provides treatment in accordance to the Holy Quran and Shariah. can anyone confirm this and is his work halal?

what is Rohani Ilaaj mean?

what is the difference between Rohani Ilaaj and Ruqiyah ass shariyah? are they the same

what is Tawiz? is it permissable to use in islam? is it like a hajab?

so why is there Aamil, who does Rohani Ilaaj (whatever it is) and gives Tawiz? isnt that the same as a sheikh who does ruqiyah and gives hajab which some say is allowed and other no its not. or are these 2 different things / people.

please give me lots and lots of detail i need to know.

i heard this too.

but i also heard,

The scholars of the Standing Committee for Issuing Fatwas said:

Asking others to offer du‘aa’ for one and asking them to perform ruqyah are permissible, but not doing them and doing without people and doing these things for oneself is better.

End quote.

Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah, 24/261

Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

This hadeeth indicates that not asking is better, just as not using cautery is better, but when there is a need for it, there is nothing wrong with asking for ruqyah or using cautery, because the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) told ‘Aa’ishah to ask for ruqyah for an illness that had befallen her, and he told the mother of the children of Ja‘far ibn Abi Taalib (may Allah be pleased with him), whose name was Asma’ bint ‘Umays (may Allah be pleased with her), to seek ruqyah for them. This indicates that there is nothing wrong with that when there is a need to ask for ruqyah. End quote.

I now learnt that Ruqya is a Sunna.

tawiz is shrik and it usually involves magic

ruhani ilaaj is possible although i haven't seen it for myself. I think it involves jinn but i am not sure.

Ruqya is sunnah. It is better to recite the relevant surahs and verses yourself. but in case you cant, you can always ask somebody else to recite it over you.

the person you mention, if he uses Quran for healing (like reciting verses and blowing over water and then drinking the water etc) then he is correct!
But if you know how to recite quran you can heal yourself and that is better.

“O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Quran), and a healing for that which is in your hearts.” (Quran 10:57)

“And We send down from the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe...” (Quran 17:82)

These verses indicate that the whole of the quran is healing.

I think you all could have made it short, and made the point.

If some one really wants to know one reason that is sure behind all Mental disorders go to Ummah forum and search thread named Mental illness

Quraanic verses or any dua that is referred to as a source of healing from the texts.
