I don't understand what is the goal of this Anti Islam/Anti Muslim group/organization called the English Defence League they seem to have members of all races skin colors religions and faiths but are they on the far right like the BNP/British National Party/British National Front/BNF ?

They are on the far right of the political spectrum. They see themselves as defending England from a Muslim invasion and keeping England for English. A great many of them are racist like those found in the BNF or BNP. They feel Muslims are tainting English Culture and want to take over England to make it an Islamic country.

The reason I posted a thread aboout the EDL is because they support the state of Israel and Zionism/Zionists yet they are called Far Right I thought Far Right groups like the BNP and the National Front were anti Jewish/anti Semitic/anti Zionist ?

Normally they are however this particular group is anti-Muslim and see Muslims as the greatest threat to Europe not the Jews.
