Giants as in people I know are mentioned(the land of the giants) but cant remember if the story is from Quran or hadith.
The way I think of it is if there were giant people then there had to be giant animals to feed them and carry them etc.
The sahabah ,it is mentioned in hadith , came across a giant grave of a king .I think the height was 40ft.Scrolled on the grave was here lies so and so king and something about him not obeying allah and for everyone to learn a lesson from his example. If I locate the hadith and the the incident about the giant grave, i'll post it with sources.

I don't think it does directly, but I do remember one thing somewhere:

When Allah put man on earth the angels asked themselves why he would do that when man would just ruin it. And the way it was asked was as if they had already experienced something before. It's not dinosaurs, but it implies that an intelligent being before man was possible.

I really don't remember exactly so don't take what I said as anything. If anyone knows what I'm talking about please clarify.

Dinosaurs referred to as "Dabbah" Beasts

Asalamau alaikum
I found this article on the internet so please read it and may be it will answer your concerns.

Dinosaurs in the Noble Quran:

A questioner on my Message Board at: http://www.answering-christianity.com/cgi-bin/message_board/read_post.cgi?file_name=142/main.txt asked the question about why Allah Almighty never mentioned dinosaurs in the Noble Quran?

Allah Almighty did mention dinosaurs in the Noble Quran. While the word "dinosaurs" is a modern word that refers to the gigantic animals that existed perhaps millions of years ago, Allah Almighty referred to all created "beasts" as "dabbah". A "dabbah" in the Noble Quran consists of all animals, including the dinosaurs.

"Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which God Sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they Trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth;- (Here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise. (The Noble Quran, 2:164)"

"He created the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; He set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and He scattered through it beasts of all kinds. We send down rain from the sky, and produce on the earth every kind of noble creature, in pairs. (The Noble Quran, 31:10)"

Notice in Noble Verse 31:10, Allah Almighty said that He created the mountains to prevent the earth from shaking (which had been scientifically proven to be true. Please visit: www.answering-christianity.com/mountains.htm), and then after that He, the Almighty, created beasts and scattered them throughout the land. These first beasts that were created before mankind are what we call today "dinosaurs".

It is Jinn that caused destruction on the earth because Jinn lived on earth thousands of years before man did. I cant find the reference at the moment. If I get it I will post it inshallah

Don't the jinn still live normal yet separate lives among us now?

I have a question similar to this. I know that a jinn is assigned to each one of us. I know some Jinns are Muslim and some are not, some are good and most are wicked, but my question is how do I know if I commit a sin, if it's the my fault or the Jinn that (possesses) me?? I also know both humans and jinns have free will and that in the Quran it says no one is responsible for the actions of others and each person is accounted for their own deeds.
