The Talmud is just various Rabbis opinions over a long period of time. As far as I know, it is full of many obscure opinions and ideas and the majority of Jews do not base their beliefs on everything written there. -
Whatever the case, the Jews and Christians are the People of the Book. - The Prophet (s) used to act kindly with them, buy meat from them, visit their sick. Islam instructs us to be kind and respectful to others.
The Jews in Madina were treacherous, but, never was there any change in the way Muslims interact with Jews.
The Jews subsequently lived better alongside the Muslims as their rulers than under the Christians. - When Constantinople was conquered by the Ottomans, the Jewish inhabitants were happy, and even the Ottomans helped to restore and build their houses of worship which were damaged. -
Jewish scientists, scholars and doctors often had prestigious positions in Muslim society, i.e. physicians to the King etc
As Muslims, we must deal honorably with all people, even if their beliefs are wrong. We are not "left-wing", "socialist", "marxist", etc, we are Muslims. We have the best of teachings from the Quran and the Sunnah. There are a lot of non-Muslims, including atheists and Christians who have unjust hatred for Jews and are "anti-semitic". -
Judaism and Zionism should be seen and dealt with separately. Indeed, many non-Jews are also Zionists.
We as Muslims should distance ourselves from any unjust rhetoric.
Also, to polarise the problems as being solely on doorstep of the Zionists is wrong. The Zionists are in fact quite weak. Their only strength is to keep Muslims divided, keep them selfish and unable to unite for Allah's sake. This includes their creating, promoting, funding, bribing and infiltrating extremist groups in Muslim countries and beyond.
If the Muslims were stronger (and I do not mean financially or militarily), with having greater Imaan, and uprightness, Integrity they would succeed. - I have spent a lot of time in the region with Palestinian brothers and sisters, and unfortunately, many good, kind people are let down by those around them. Many ran away from Palestine during the 1948 Nakba, but, others actually sold their lands to the Jews and moved to Jordan, buying up land and property and establishing businesses. - A very pious old lady who lives in Amman, in Tala' Ali district, was able to point out even, giving names of the people who had come from Palestine and had sold off their lands to Jews. They may even be sitting in the first row of the mosques! - Of course, none will ever admit this, but it is a common secret which some of the elderly know. And a Shame, which still exists today, except for very few who have a little bit of integrity and fear of Allah.
