Hacktivism: Websites of Indian Universities, Banks And Other Institutions To Be Hacked

‘ Hacktivism’, which originates from the combination ‘hacking’ and ‘activism’, is often defined as the “nonviolent” use of illegal or legally ambiguous digital tools – such as web site defacements, redirects, denial-of-service attacks, information theft, web site parodies, virtual sit-ins, and virtual sabotage – in pursuit of political ends.
Z Company Hacking Crew appears to be on a Hacktivism campaign to embarrass the Indian government, by hacking many websites of India and posting messages in favor of KASHMIR. ZHC have already hacked into many high profile websites and this attack was a mass defacement done by their members in order to send a clear message to Indian government that it might supress as many movements in Kashmir but it will never supress the sentiments of AAZADI (Freedom). A Complete list of thousands of websites already hacked by ZHC is given below.
We will protest in every way we can. We will protest with whatever means we have. We are doing all this in order to spread a message to world that Kashmiris want freedom and they have every right to fight for it.
We know that after this attack best Indian government can do is blame Pakistani hackers and here we would just say DON'T JUDGE US... We don’t have any nationality... our members are from all over the world. Indian hackers might deface some Pakistani websites but we do not care as we are not involved in any kind of Cyber War with any one.
We had already sent mails to all the leading newspapers and leading news channels that we would carry out the attack. This is just the beginning. We will continue to carry many such attacks on Indian universities, banks and other institutions to lodge our protest.
