A couple of questions

I hope this finds you in good health and strong Eman. I was relaxing last night and a couple of questions popped into my head that I don't have the awnser to.

First, why is Mecca only allowed to Muslims? How do they know if you are Muslim or not before you enter?

As to the other question. I do not know. I know of one case Sir Richard Burton who went to Mecca.

First, why is Mecca only allowed to Muslims? How do they know if you are Muslim or not before you enter?

There were too many enemies of Islam who wanted to eradicate it. When Mecca was conquered, it was declared that only Muslims must live in the city of Allah where the House of Allah is and the arabs not wanting to leave their homes all converted to Islam. There many who converted to stay but in their hearts they were still pagans, these later became to be known as the hypocrites. Basically that is the land of Islam, of Monotheism, and so it was limited to the followers of Islam by Allah. But that is not all, later Prophet (saw) declareda ll of arabia to be Muslim only land. The saudi regime limit it to madina and makkah only and let millions of expats into the the arabian peninsula cuz all of them are too lazy and stupid to do their own work.

If you apply for visa and are granted entry, you have to show what religion you are of and proper restrictions are applied on you then.
