Day care Question

I hope all of my fellow Brothers and Sisters are well in health and Deen.

First off thank you for the Dua's for my Mother In Law, Alhamdulillah my MIL's appendix had no burst but was about to so they got it out w/no complications. She is at home and recovering.

I have a question about non-Islamic day care. I have to go back to work due to the aid we are receiving from the state and have to put William into day care. Needless to say there are no Islamic day care centers here or w/in 100 miles. What should I tell his teachers, he is only 2 and really isn't cognizant about a lot of serious religious matters.

Dearest sister;

1)Glad to know that your beloved MIL is doing good
and recovering well.

2:About Willliam, for this time you could just get him to the day care centre which is near you,
A:first find out from people around how the situation and the best , comfortable mostly safe, day care centre around.
To be putting your precious little one,
you have to be sure that he 's in good and safest place!

B:It sure matter that should be muslim but doesn't matter if it non muslim's Centre but the most important thing is that to inform the Centre that;
William is a muslim.
They should not be teaching him any other than Islam,
and to be assure that they will not feeding him of non halal foods and drinks.
And as long as they can guarantee that they can provide your demand,
i don't find any reason why you have no choice.

C:You can drop by any time to check and see how's he's doing.

D:Interact with the Centre to find his progress.

E:Be sure to update with dear William what happen and what his day like,
in the day care Centre everyday.

F: Don't forget to teach him the basic of Islam .
And enrol him(later) in Islamic class during weekend in a mosque or madrasah.

Remember!
Putting our child in a new place is very important to find out as
; how and what, to make sure that our child is in the safest hand and then don't forget to make du'a for his safety after that.

Thank you for the advice sister, so far we have only found on Day Care that is taking 2 year olds and we didn't feel all that great about it, he is on the list for another and Inshallah he will get into that one. We are visiting one more home day care center tomorrow. One we had to say no to as they would have fed him pork despite me saying no to any Pork Products. I could tell when I walked in with my hijab she was uncomfortable. This finding Day Care is quiet a pain I must say lol I pray that the one tomorrow works out.

Take time to look for the most suitable and safe one, sister.
Are there any muslim or mosque near you
maybe they can help or suggesting some idea.
These day,
our child safety should be put on the toppest of list, if you read the newspaper you got what i meant.
Insya'allah there's a good place for our dear little William.

Sadly Sister no, I live out in the boondocks and there are no Muslims around me other then well me that I know of. The closest two cities are Ashland (2 hours north) and Redding (2 hours south). I really need to move to a bigger town.

Ok,
True leaving far away from our Islamic community is rather quite difficult.
Anyway,
how was the search for the most suitable child -care centre near you?
Any progress?
They should have afterall..... hey!It's America!!!

Now,
Let get back to our discussion.
How about your sibling or your husband's
somebody would love to babysitting cute little William.
For a while until your dear MIL got better.

Or you could employ and paid for a day only maid
that can look after little Wiiliam and altogether your MIL too?

You can contact the maid agency for this and know the procedures,
it's safer this way because you know,getting someone that you don't know over you house,close to your precious and loved ones and close to your possession when you are not around,
you should be sure who and where they are from and that maid's agency with business licence,
that we can always refer back to them and contact the authority if what-ever problem there is in future.

I found a Day Care today that I think will be awesome. The lady is really nice, she understands about William being a Muslim and is cool about it. Her house is geared towards kids, they have an indoor tree house which is cool. I go to fill out the paperwork tonight and Inshallah he will there tomorrow at 9 am.

Great news I am so happy for you and your family,
Just a little thing i like to add,this about asking them whether they provide a Webcams
for parent and guardian to view over the internet via our computer and mobile, if there any CCTV install in their
Day care centre's premises an advantage for parent to watch their dear ones any tme.
CCTV is common nowadays to have install like in school,care centre and many of goverment and business centre to keep us up date what is going on the other side of the world.
