Hi and welcome to TTI. I appreciate you asking questions of Muslims in order to represent our faith fairly and correctly in your comic. Enjoy your stay.
Well, if love is a sickness, i want to be sick! xD *hopeless romantic* but i still don't understand how love is bad, i would prefer to be blinded by love than be in an awkward and loveless marriage (even if i never want to marry, but anyway)
I can see how everyone else's words on love may not have made sense to you and I'll try to explain more about it. It really requires a lengthy conversation but I'll try to just cover the gist of it. First of all, love is NOT bad. It's actually encouraged in Islam, so much so to the point that Allah actually rewards Muslims who show love towards one another. However, this speaks mostly towards the love between spouses. See, marriage is a holy institution blessed by God. Only within marriage, can human beings enjoy one another and the carnal desires of the flesh. Doing so outside of marriage lowers us to the level of baseless animals. This is why premarital relationships are not recognized in Islam. As Muslims, we believe that Allah gave us dignity through the religion of Islam. It is what gives us our respect and our nobility. God has permitted us to enjoy one another but only within these confines. Personally, I think it's perfect that way. Intimacy and love is so personal and sacred that it should only be enjoyed within an equally sacred institution. That way, Allah gives more value to love and intimacy when it can only be explored in such a safe and secure manner. Doing it outside of this takes value and meaning away from it and equates it to simple animal desires. Why take something beautiful and make it ugly?
Secondly, we should always HOPE that we're never blinded by love. For Muslims, the majority of our love is for God and God alone. We worship the Creator and not His Creation. When we "blindly" fall in love with Creation, we resort to worshipping Creation instead and for those of us who want to have the ultimate connection with our Creator, that's a big risk. We're the un-Eternal striving for a connection with the Eternal. My blind love, my obsession, my whole heart should be for Him. That's addressing "blind love". That's not to say you can't love others. Family, friends, spouses are all to be loved. In fact, the very God that wants us to love Him created our Love for others. You're just not supposed to transgress the limits and go so insane with love that you're "blinded" and see nothing else. We believe that this world is temporary and the Hereafter is what's permanent. My love for my Creator is what's supposed to get me into Paradise in the Hereafter and therefore, I can't afford to "blindly love" anything or anyone else because that's not going to get me anywhere.
That's not to say that our way automatically leads to an "awkward and loveless marriage". Not sure where you're getting that really because married couples are encouraged to express deep love for one another. You only end up in an awkward and loveless marriage if you don't do your homework and marry the first person you see without even speaking to them.
Yeah, i might have taken the wrong site ^^'' my muslim friend say that theses guys are completely insane, so i will search for answers in other places ^^)
Look, just realize that for Muslims moderation is what's key. We also have different opinions within the different schools of thought in Islam. And all of those opinions are validated as correct because all of our earlier scholars respected one another. I'm actually not sure on what you were referring to when you stated the above, but I do know that that website sometimes appears to have things in black and white when there are many shades of grey. I would advise you to look into other opinions on this as well.
 Well, i tough it was fine >>'' but i think that i will still use it for some scenes, there are like just two of them so i don't think it will make such a difference.
I say go for it. It's not your problem that the burqini was invented and that many Muslims don't like it. In fact, many Muslim women do resort to it because they see it as adequate. The rest of us just think it's ugly but at the same time, you can still use it for your comic.
