marriage proposal without making her feel insecure

Dear muslim brothers n sisters, i need ur help in a matter. Actually there is a class fellow of mine that i like very much. It is probably because of her simplicity and decency. I hav talked to my parents about her because i m really interested in her and want to marry her. But its not possible for me to talk to her parents directly because i dont really know her where abouts. We live in different cities and i cannot just ask my parents to go and talk to her parents without knowing whether she is ok with all this or not.
I want to talk to her about this first and then if she does not hav any objection about my parents contacting her's for marriage, only then i will ask my parents. Kindly suggest me a decent way to approach her so that she may not feel insecure and awkward. Looking for suggestions from my brothers and sisters ..
Thanks alot

Don't talk to her first. Considering exceptions, most girls freeze in these situations, not physically, verbally, or mentally, but emotionally, and at times, the approach is seen as quite demeaning, on the man's part too. It also increases anxiety and might lead to suspicion from her own family. Do your research, find her family and go from there. Allah grant you that which is in your khair.

assalamu alaykum, I second the advice the brother and sister gave already. If you have a sister, aunt etc who can speak to her or her family then that might be better.

Not her ... Her family is the better option. That places her in the position to talk to her family, and as a girl, the last thing you want to be doing is engineering your own proposal ... Let her find out from her own family, let her have the experience traditionally.
