nasheeds with music/beats

i am finding it very difficult to find nasheeds without beats in it, i know you can listen to nasheeds with duff on eid or a wedding, but sami yusuf, native deen and other various naheed artists have proper musical instraments in them what should be done should we totally not listen to nasheeds by these artists?

I personally feel that any nasheeds or relious song/music is most likely permissible on the grounds that one uses voice, instruments, beats and melody with love and devotion for Allah (SWT). In fact it could be arguable that with a beat and melody someone may remember the nasheed or devotional song for Allah (swt) more easily and surely its better to hum/sing (thinking about Islam) than that to rock/pop/hiphop music.

I think it makes some nasheeds more complete (sami yusuf/ or when its about our Prophet pbuh and makes you feel like your in those times (if you know what I mean) and some cultures have Qawwali in remebering god...and anyway musical instruments like the guitar where invented by Islamic spain! Correct me if im wrong ;)

Assalam.

These are such topics. Personally I feel from reasearch not opionion that music is prohibited in all cases. I know this is an old topic but I couldn't leave it like this. There are other threads about this...


About the guitar I don't know. Therefore I will not comment. Perhaps someone else knows.

BTW not all Muslims actions represent Islam, the muslims we should take example in action from are the Salafs.

Wa alaykum salam wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh

Best thing to do is forget Nasheed altogether and just listen to Quran! Its what i do.
