Ayah of the day-
O ye who believe! save yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is Men and Stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who flinch not (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do (precisely) what they are commanded.
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo qoo anfusakum waahleekum naran waqooduha alnnasu waalhijaratu AAalayha malaikatun ghilathun shidadun la yaAAsoona Allaha ma amarahum wayafAAaloona ma yumaroona
Surah At-Tahrim (Banning), Ayah 6
Hadith of the day-
Narrated Sahl:
I heard the Prophet saying, "A (small) place equal to an area occupied by a whip in Paradise is better than the (whole) world and whatever is in it; and an undertaking (journey) in the forenoon or in the afternoon for Allah's Cause, is better than the whole world and whatever is in it."
(Sahih Bukhari, Book 76, Number 424)
Dua of the day-
Said upon seeing someone in trial or tribulation
This supplication is to be said to one’s self, not directly to the one in trial or tribulation.
Alhamdu lillahil-lathee AAafanee mimmab-talaka bih, wafaddalanee AAala katheerin mimman khalaqa tafdeela.
‘All praise is for Allah Who saved me from that which He tested you with and Who most certainly favoured me over much of His creation.’
regards,
Aishah.
