It's definitely sad to see various comments and thoughts of various ignorant fools, however, does it not make you smile when you see so many non-Muslims sticking up for people and religion they don't belong to?

Yeah, absolutely, it's so annoying. However, the media's now becoming very aware of how they're losing their grip on society and the population as a whole. That's because more and more people understand them to be biased and lacking the full story, and so not only do they research elsewhere, but they read other accounts of the same thing online. So internet can have it's useful attritributes.

I think it was an extremely ignorant act; why people who declare themselves as stout Muslims, and make such efforts to look like them, would do such a thing is beyond me. However it was like 30 people! And it's become such an internet frenzy, even on American news sites, which makes it all the more frustrating.

It's something which should be ignored and paid no attention to. Unfortunately, EDL can use this as material to further populate their fanbase.
