Asalam alaikum everyone.

I fell in love with this song just last month. It's beautiful and chilling.

I'll post the lyrics. If you don't like music, it can be a poem.

It's called "100 Years To Live" from Five For Fighting. I think this is a great song. Obviously it can be interpeted many diffrent ways. How does it make you feel? I cry whenever I listen to it. I'm a softie.

Here is where the tears come in addition to the chills for me, "I'm 99 for a moment, dying for just another moment, and I'm just dreaming, counting the ways to where you are." If anyone has ever watched a parent, grandparent or older loved one deteriorate this will make perfect sense.

You can find the song on youtube if you wish to listen to it. I didn't post it because everytime I post anything nice, I get cheesed for it. SubhanAllah brother. Please share if you want. I'm turning 22 in October and I've already been through a lot. I remember when I was 15, caught in between 10 and 20...when I said my shahadah, alhamdulilah.

I'm going to hold back a lot of things I want to say on this subject. However, I'll just suffice to say that these lyrics assume that every person lives for a 100 years. That's not true at all - its actually quite rare. People can die at any age, whether 15, 22. 33 etc. So "15 there's still time" doesn't make sense, does it?

well, I agree with you on that, but I think the poem/song means that when it says "15 there's still time for you" it means that there's no need to rush to do everything, everything isn't going to happen over night..even if one does pass away at 15, at least they'll have fewer regrets and can enjoy themselves in Jennah forever InshaAllah.
