i would like to know from my brother & sister from deen as well from my cousin from Chritianity...my friend was telling me that its proof in bible but contradiction is still there soo i would like to know about it..

I was a Christian, so I know about this subject a lot.

December 25th was a day chosen by the Catholic Church to represent Jesus' birthday. The Christian Churches admit that it was most likely not the day of Jesus' birth, but the Pope of long ago chose it.

It was originally a Pagan Holiday. The Pope wanted to turn this Pagan Holiday into a Christian Holiday, so he made this day the day of celebration of Jesus' birth.

However, this was obviously not his birthday as common sense as well as the Bible contradict this date.

As far i know and all thought i have accepted Islam i am Scottish and a lot of paganism has come from here it was called winter solstice untill the Romans or Catholics which ever you wish to call it. And tried to change things but traditions stuck so they combined Jesus's birth with winter solstice.May Allah forgive me if i have gave any wrong information::tti_sister:
