My Dear Brothers and Sisters, if you have noticed I have made one of the Hadith in bold. It is due to the fact that we take it very lightly now a days not to pray Sunnah after Fardh Salaat. As for those who do, May Allah give you your reward that you deserve, and as for those that do not, I pray this serves as the reminder, and May Allah guide us all and bring us closer to His Glorious Self. Ameen.

Prophet :saw: said that: One who remembers and make Ammal (Implement) of these above said 40 Hadith's, He will be with Prophets and Ullemaas in the ground of Hasher on the Day of Judgment. Insha Allah.

I will Insha Allah, thing is someone sent it to me without a source, but I have read it in Faza'il-e-A'maal, so I didnt bother asking. I think the one mentioned in this book is sllightly different. But, anyhow, in this book it is from the collection of Bukhari.

Personally, I do not see anything wrong with that book. I think its chains of narrations are quite authentic. If you have doubts about it, that is in your own interest to avoid it and read and use other sources. I am quite satisfied with the work and effort of the author. But, you are correct in what you say, and I respect that wholeheartedly.

I know what you mean Muslim18. Some pray two before Dhuhr. I hope I am not mistaken but that is the Shafi Mazhab that do that amount of rakaats of Sunnah. Four before Dhuhr is suggested by Imam Hanafi. I am definitely sure I am making a mistake so, please correct me.

I think from that point we just need to understand that we shouldnt take Sunnah prayers lightly. They are a part of prayer, so it should be done, and May Allah give us the Tawfiq to do so. Aameen. I thought it should be pointed out as many, including myself, take it as optional. I, myself, at times of emergency, such as while being outside of the home or at university, used to miss my Dhuhr Sunnah. If, then time allowed, I would pray them at Isha as Nafl. But Alhamdulillah after coming across this Hadeeth, I try my utmost best to complete them. Also, at the Masjid or Musallah, many just pray their Fardh and then leave the Sunnah. Some, just dont do it at all, some miss it due to time constraints. Anyhow, May Allah guide us all. Ameen.

Thank you Brother Abdul Musa'ir for the clarification. I interpreted that Hadith only on the basis that one is travelling. While I am at university, if I have time, I do perform Sunnah. But if I dont have enough time, then I pray them at home.

Okay, so now that you have posted this Hadith, it makes me confused in regards to this issue. If the reward is given on the basis that the Sunnah and Fardh prayers are performed at the prescirbed time, then again it says that we should only perform Fardh outside and Sunnah at home.. hmmm :( Because, it clearly says that the Sunnah should be performed before Fajr, Before Dhuhr etc. You know what I mean?

Allah.
( IMAN MUFASSAL)

"I believe in Allah, in His Angels, His Scriptures, His Prophets, the Day of Judgement, and in the fact that every thing good or bad (in the world) is pre-destined by Allah the Exalted, and in the resurrection after death."
8.One should testify that "THERE IS NO GOD BESIDES ALLAH AND MUHAMMAD
(Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam) IS THE MESSANGER OF ALLAH".
La ilaha illala muhammadur rasullullah. need daleel?
9.One should do Wudhu (ablution) perfectly before every Namaz
(Prayer).
10.One should pay Zakat (Charity) regularly.
11.One should keep all Farz (Compulsory) Fasts of Ramadan.
12.One should go for Hajj (Pilgrimage) in possible situations.
We know this enough =).
13.One should compulsorily read the 12 Rakath (Units) of Sunath-e-
Moukida Namaz (Prayers) daily.

2 Rakath (Units) after Dhuhr (Noon) Farz Namaz.
2 Rakath (Units) after Maghrib (Sunset) Farz Namaz.
2 Rakath (Units) after Isha (night) Farz Namaz.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever prays twelve Rak`at during the day and night will have a house built for him in Paradise.” (Reported by At-Tirmidhi)
14.One should not leave the Wajib Witr Namaz (Prayer).
From Bukhari]] 2.274: Narrated Abu Huraira: My friend (the Prophet) advised me to do three things and I shall not leave them till I die, these are: To fast three days every month, to offer the Duha prayer, and to offer witr before sleeping.
15.One should not do Shirk (Worshipping others besides Allah).
:astag:
16.One should not disobey the orders of parents.

17.One should not forcefully and illegally take away the property of
Orphans.
Narrated Abu Huraira(rd) in bukhari

The Prophet said, "Avoid the seven great destructive sins." They (the people!) asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What are they?" He said, "To join partners in worship with Allah; to practice sorcery; to kill the life which Allah has forbidden except for a just cause (according to Islamic law); to eat up usury (Riba), to eat up the property of an orphan; to give one's back to the enemy and freeing from the battle-field at the time of fighting and to accuse chaste women who never even think of anything touching chastity and are good believers."
18.One should not drink Alcohol.

(Surah Baqarah)

20.One should not keep wrong (broken) oaths (Promises).

22.One should not fulfill his/her Bad Desires.
O you who believe! Do not make haram the good of things which Allah has made halal for you, and do not transgress; indeed, Allah does not like transgressors. (5:90 (87))
23.One should not participate in Backbiting of other Muslim
(Believer) brother.
Allah says in Surah Al-Hujuraat:
O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion, Indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it, and fear Allah. Verily Allah is the one who forgives and accepts repentance, most merciful.
24.One should not keep wrong blame on uncontaminated boy or girl.
{And those who launch a charge against chaste [honorable] women, and produce not four witnesses [to support their allegations],- flog them with eighty stripes; and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors [evil-doers].}* (An-Nur 24:4)
25.One should not feel Jealousy on other Muslim (Believer) brother.
Keep away from jealousy, for jealousy eats up virtues in the same way as fire eats up the wood.(abu dawud)
26.One should not give involvement in the worldly Games and
Entertainment.
Everything other than remembering Allah is (considered) wasteful play except four: a man humoring his wife, a man training his horse, a man walking between targets (learning archery), and man learning swimming," narrated by An-Nasaa'i (Sahih Al-Jami' 4534).
27.One should not involve in Jokes.
In Tirmizi a narration of Sayyidina Ibn Abbas radiyallahu anhu is reported wherein it has been prohibited to joke.

Rest tomorrow inshallah.

Thank you for the clarification also. May Allah reward you. Well yes that is correct. But in cases where I am outside, I guess we have to pray and cant miss it ha? But yes I know what the Hadith is referring to, as in men are required to frequent the Masjid trips, whereas with women, it is not necessary that they pray in the Masjid. As much as it spiritually elevates you, it is not necessary. Now a days though, the Masjid has transformed from a place of worship, to a place of gossip and all. All the latest news comes home especially on the day of Jumuah when the men have been to the Masjid. So for that reason also, women should avoid the Masjid. ;)
